    ive seen alot of you guys getting up before the sun and heading to your permissions for a full day of ferreting, is this the best time to start? or can i start at dinner time and work till it gets dark? im waiting on a lad on one of are permissions to get back to me about ferreting his horse feilds. we are aloud to use harris hawks but no air rifles so im hoping he will let me have a go with some ferrets

    what would you guys say is the best shotgun to start out with ?im 5 fot 6 and only way 10 stone when wet lol. ove tryed a Beretta Silver Pigeon 12 gauge o/u. and its kick is abit to much for my light frame. what do you guys think?

    do people walk there dogs on the wasteland? if not get some snares out and about .along the fence/hedge boundrys of the campsite

    well find out who owns the waste land and get on there with some ferrets and dogs

    well the next time i get a chance to get out i will just over arm it in to the hedge. maybe take the tail for a trophy to nail to my shed lol

    i used to have the ratty, it was great for woodies in a tree but anything bigger then that was a bite hit or miss. for bunnys i would say not more then 25yrd for a clean kill. thats why i sold it. as my feild craft wasnt that good so i got myself a hw90k and my god that really was a airrifle

    ok guys i get the hole idea of killing foxes but what do you do with the bodys? with most of the prey we all shoot we can eat or feed to ferrets , but what about that large fox you shot ? i only ask as ive seen one or 2 on my permission and i dont just want to dump it in a bush when ive killed it

    why not build a nother layer on the top of the one you have then put a ram in. spliting them is like some one taking your wife away because ur house is to small.

    its to later mate ive got rid of it now, went and got a bag of shavings. i now what you mean about how quick it gets wet. but if you keep on top of it andclean them out every other day it dont matter to much .

    you would have to get it safty checked first then get all the conectors but i cant see why not, but thats just my oppinion

    i was getting around 30/40 shots. before they started to dip. but my god if there wasnt any wind i would say 28 out of the 30 would hit the same hole every time.

    ok its a long shot but here go's , guys if one of you can find it in your heart to go in to ur garage or cupbourd or where ever you keep your hunting gear and see if you have a spare camo jacket you dont use or thats to small since them extra inches gained over xmas. i would be very grateful . im only 10stone soaking wet. so any thing over a 38"chest will fit. i got one not that longback off ebay and it was the wrong size . so please guys help a fellow shooter out.

    why not give it a try mate. let use all know how you get on with it , if it works you will have everyone trying it and if it dont then we will all just laff at you with only one hand andno rifle :rofl:

    i swoped mine for a theoben evo and i wish i hadn't. lovly guns but not alot of full power shots per fill. best pellets i found for it was rws hollow points. great little gun mate you cant go wrong with them .

    lol@wheely bin you may laff mate but im telling you the bag it is in will just fit in a large wheelie bin if im lucky . it took me and wor lass to pick it up to move it in to shed lol.

    i did look in to getting one a month or so ago but like above people talked me round. its a shame because they look good rifles on paper.
