  7. never used to like football either, couldn,t understand what the fuss was about until my lad started playing(he was very good but had to give up because of problems with his feet)and I started to appreciate the skill involved, often compare a good game of football to watching the dug run,can watch a game with no goals and still enjoy it the same as watching the dug work with no kills which happens alot in my case, lol,
  8. Thought I would do a wee write up on how the pups coming on.I have had the pup oot ferreting about half a dozen times now in the last month or so and think she,s doing very well.Sometimes I take nets and other times I don,t just to give the pup a couple of runs.I decided to take her oot the other day without the nets for a wee bit sport. The first warren I tried was a three or four holer, popped the one ferret in and after a minute or so a rabbit bolted, she gave chase but the rabbit hit cover which was nearby very quickly, she lost it and returned to the warren straight away to wait for the next

I was out with ma pea shooter when I was a boy, hit this woodcock in full flight, it summersaulted in mid air, took the head clean off a pheasant which ran 200 yards headless, tripped over a 12 point stag which broke its leg and fell head first into a river.. when I pulled it out, it had speared 8 salmon and 4 sea trout with its antlers....... had me choking on ma satsuma,
