    im not asking you to put your dogs at risk. if people cant work out you have dogs or that hunt terriermen have dogs without you telling them, then there not going to nick them!! what im asking is, if you are saying your dogs has been in hunt service as part of its cv then you should also be prepared to say where its been... then people can make their own decisions. as you will know some countires are easy to work than others and some teriermen get more work than others. you are not putting the dog at risk atall... just backing up your comments with facts. if anyone was intrested in the dog

    i wouldnt put a dog to ground without one. the Fell and Moorland club. they would be the first real port of call if you ever found yourself in this situation again.. well worth joining for people like yourself. if your terrier was truely stuck they have the equipmenta nd funds to help you free your dog. they could of also offered you advice over the phone, for example leaving your coat in a box or even a trap so she would look to it for warmth and could be collected at when re-visited.
