    I have got the easy hit too and its really helped would recommend highly. Only thing is the price but I think there are cheaper options about too.

    Not sure if this will help but you can buy but pads that just slip over the end of the butt, made of leather and elastic. Thought this might give you a feel of how its like with a bit extra length. I bought a s x s that had a butt extension because I have quite a long neck. I find it more comfortable than a standard length stock.

    They are cheaper, for people starting out it can be quite a lot to fork out 160 quid for the mk3 but you can pick up the mk1 about 60 quid.

    How much did it cost? I found it easy to do myself. Like the one said its only two screws and if it goes again I can fix it.

    Yes I have 2 mk1 and 1 mk3m, its really annoying, I just think it must be something I am doing if no one else has had it happen and both of my boxes have the same problem.

    I brought a different box off eBay and its doing exactly the same? Has anyone had similar problem? Or have any ideas as to the problem?

    A few mk1 finder and collars have gone for 50 quid on eBay recently so it might be worth having a look around for a good deal.

    You could use shelving brackets to hold the poles in, just get the duct tape out, to attach them!

    When I am using my box and scan to a deeper depth it gets to 6ft and then makes a screeching noise, does anyone know why this is? It has done it since I have had it ( given from a friend) so I don't know when or how it started. Any ideas? Cheers

    I am the same with being left eye but right handed, have you tried the easy hit beads? I have found they really help and allow you to keep both eyes open too. Ive never tried them mate, they look awesome, just what I need...THANKYOU +1Bullx glad your on your way to being a happy shooter... theres not much more frustrating than blasting away and hitting nowt haha The easy hit ones are quite expensive, I am pretty sure there are other makes that do the same but a bit cheaper. But I have only used the easy hit ones so you might have to do some research.

    I was offered a hide as a guest on a friends syndicate of duck flighting last night and eagerly accepted. Got to the site and met everyone shooting that evening then we headed off to the first of the two ponds that are fed and shot over. This pond was the smaller of the two and we lined up around the pond as someone went to feed it in, and as expected around 15 Mallard and 5 Widgeon came off this pond. I had two shots but missed both annoyingly. Then we headed down to the 2nd larger pond that we were going to be flighting, made sure all the automatic feeders were working and full and got into
