Do it Sean, it's an amazing place.. I prefer the small edge of city districts, more traditional places..but for a massive city it is a great place, done quite a few city breaks, and by far our favourite so far .

Trip to Tsukiji fish market this morning, this was the biggest fish market in the world and the record tuna was sold here for over 3m dollars, the main trading market is a few miles up.the road in Toshyo but a lot of the produce is brought here and put through the food outlets...what an experience, if you like seafood this is as good as it gets, mainly locals eating svd walking round, but I can imagine it would be full of tourists in the high season...amazing.. Sashimi snow crab Bbq king crab probably some of the best tuna in the w

First time here for us mate, and only a day in, but so far I really like it.. we've done a few cities, I've a feeling this is one we'll be coming back to.. We're a 5 minute walk from the Tokyo Dome so quite fancy trying to watch a game of baseball...I idea of the rules (throw, hit, run and shout strike every so often is about my grasp on it lol).. but it's something different and would appeal as an experience for me... not sure on the girls though, so might be a solo trip which will cost me as they'll be off shopping lol... Tbh I love just walking around and getting lost, people watc

  13. I can definitely agree with that... watching England football in the euros (i reckon 2004) in a rugby club in Bridegend showed me the depth of the hatred...for both football and England lol

Never been to a baseball game, we usually watch a football match in any city we visit... try and convince the wife and daughter to watch a game of men's rounders whilst we're here.

We done the same mate, water babies.. first time I took my lad 3 or 4 months old and you put them under the water and take a step back and they push to you...spun me out, as I pulled him up and out I expected screams and tears, but none at all.. As all the lads have said its an essential life skill imo, we've spent out life on or near water, I learnt in an outside pool as a kid, it was bloody freezing... but was prepared for sea and river soon enough lol
  18. Bang on mate.. My bitch is exactly the same, around the ferrets from 12 weeks, nothing serious just a walk, odd netted rabbit etc, walked through sheep pretty 2 or 3 times a week, first time she showed any interest (6 months old) was the only time she's had a proper bollocking, good as gold since.. you've seen her mate, she's a fair sizes dog 25" and probably 70lb or so, as Owain said "she'll never make a ferreting dog" lol..and to a degree he's right, but she's been a useful dog around ferrets and general rabbiting, plus she's done what I wanted her for... never seen a dropper in her lif
  19. If you are gonna drop em you don't give them 150 yards head start... like you say its lazy though, I don't think it teaches them much imo..each to their own though, if nothing else this site has taught me other the years we certainly ain't all the same! Lol
  20. Maybe change the thread title... Londons Calling Lads?
