Ok guys. Ive got one ferret, he aint working at moment just keeping the Sal company as he grows up! So as far as exercise is concerned he gets lenty when chasing the Sal around the garden, lol. What do you recomend as an ideal amount daily, and when to feed him each day! He has fresh water in the hutch every morning. As well as his bottle on the wire! After I clean him out, while he and the Sal do their thing, I top up his dry food tray so there is always dry food available, and put his fresh in for when he goes back into the hutch! Ta Butt! Learning it is, lol. We both got a lot to learn before next season. He can go out this winter for a mooch but as a play thing! Not gonna rush anything! Anyway, I recon he would play with the fluffy's before catching them, or even run in the opposit direction, lol. I recon the Ferret can teach him a few things mind! My mate Baz recons he feels it had been worked a bit before he came to me.

It was a better performance from Aladdin tonight! Pitch black on the playing feilds, and you could only just see him. In fact half the time you could only hear him run, and the white socks show up now and again. He was at ease tonight, as he was alone! Its great to see him wiz past you in the dark, you hear the pounding of his feet, see a little white patch and then a couple more, and whish! A flash of red Sal rushes past, and you can feel the air move! Its a great feeling, I can tell you! Just me, Aladdin, and an open, flat playing feild! Dont want to rush him on rough ground

Glad its not just Aladdin then! We just been up the football feild for a run. Great run arround, took his toy fluffytail with us. He had a few good sprints and then decided he wasn't having any more of it, lol. He kept heading for the way out that we came in, so I called him, with my hand in air, and then turned around and walked away. He came back no probs. Then he did it another once, thing is there is a road nect to the feild and you all know Sal's are brain dead when it comes to roads, lol. So is my missus come to that, but I can shout at her. lol. Well! We got out for a run, after getting him out of bed that is! He couldnt wait, which I was surprised at after yesterday, lol. Got up the feild and there was a couple of dogs with this young guy just getting there before us! They were one side of the wall, we were the other, and Aladdin didn't see them. One of the dogs was a real lovely Lurcher, Deerhound/Greyxwith something I cant remember! Said he was 27"tts! Bout right, towered over Lad! And he had a JR! Cant everyone just agree, that what they watched on the vid is a good dog, doing what he is asked and bred to do. You all hunt differently! GB an America have different type of ground for the dogs to run on, and a chase there will look a lot different to here! The Red dog was filmed and shared with you all, and I recon he is well good! I have a pure Sal, he is a red tri! Hope he will do me proud, as is the Red in the film doing his owner proud! He is a fast grower ain't he! Nice dog though! My Aladdin is 23" now, only grown 3" in the month iv'e had him so your pup is coming on well! Aladdin is a full Saluki so I hope he will get to 28"tts. You got your pup doing more at the moment than mine wants to do. Being a Saluki he can be stuborn when he wants, looks as if your pup is the opposit! Good luck with the work. Let him be a pup mind! Too many people try and rush them.

I know its only 11am ish, but Aladdin has decided its a bed day today by the looks of things, lol. Bet I did walk the legs off him yesterday. Never mind, its pissistantly raining down here, and has been all night, so let him off for a few more hours. Whatever the weather is later mind, we are gonna have to go and have a little run up the feild. Lol.

Well! He's been freerunning at last! Bloody great it is to see him running without strings. Should change his name to Pinnochio, lol. Very very unshure of other dogs at moment. So much I call him a whimp. Runs directly in the opposit direction of any dog, whatever size, that apears on the horizon, lol. Apart from his time with the Breeder, he is only now getting to meet another of his own kind! Funny how he has taken so well to the Ferret though! Might be that he is secure in his own back yard. Well, Aladdin has started to get out and about on a lead, and has taken to it great! use the normal lead for street walking, to get him used to traffic and people! Use the 50ft lunge line when he is allowed a good run. Cant let him off it at moment till Im'e shure we got the recall aranged with him, lol. Dont take him long to get to the end of the lead though, lol. Wont do his biz outside the home, he waits till we get back to his own garden where he got his own place, wierd! Taken to the ferret so well, he cant wait for it to be let out for them to play together!

Aladdin twisted awkwardly on his foot yesterday, (Mon) He cried to such a level that I thought he had broken it! He was in his basket crying with all his might! I coulnt get him to move it or calm him down so phone to make an appointment with the emergancy vet! By the time my mate called to take us up it was only about 15mins, the bloody dog was standing on his foot with only a slight limp! Phoned vet and we decided it wasn't broken but probably sprained and decided to keep an eye on it! That was about 9.30am. By 12.00noon, he was running around the garden after the bloody Ferret again.

Picked up a mate for Aladdin, to keep him company while he gets used to the household! They get on so well its strange! From the time they met they have played well together and copy each other! Only got a temporary hutch at moment, while Im'e building the new one! If Aladdin has his own way, it would be big enough for the both of them. Wouldn't think this pic was the other day, he seems to look younger, lol. Dont we all wish for that! Taking shape now I recon! Sometimes I think Iv'e got myself a pointer!

My partner is Lactos intolorent! She uses Soya milk in her tea and on cereal. Aladdin had a bit of cornflakes off me this morning and it had cows milk on them. He enjoyed the milk I must admit and drunk it all through the cereal. Thinking then that perhaps cows milk might not be right, I thought of the Soya milk that my missus uses. Next time he has some, it will be Soya milk on it to try next time! He is a Saluki, and a bit funny with his food at moment, so trying everything!

Shifted the corosive liquid now mind, lol Found about everything there is to find in the garden now, hope he is this good out in the fields! Why is it you have to sneek a pic when their backs turned, lol As you can see, he's still covered in his puppy fluff! Be nice to see his full colour when its all gone.
