  1. Firstly i do not line my pockets.. ... get real thee no money in ferrets everyone knows that. Secondly you sound like you dont like rescues ....what would happen if your best working feret was to escape and end up in a rescue would you not be glad to have her returned to you, .... only at a cost to help line our pockets you :stupid: :wankerzo4:
  2. a mate of mine thought he would save money by building a 3 storey hutch with MDF and only to end up costing him more money as when it got damp as it will, it ended up swelling making it hard to open and shut the doors.
  3. say no more lol and let me guess ......... you take donations for the ferts or do yo sell them ? nothing more then a peddlar . now jog on lol a rescue and he is having a go at a responsable owner ........you sound like an anti I take donations but only the same as what you would pay in free ads, this is to cover the cost of food and bedding only, the vet bills come out of my own pocket and i submit accounts to the sfc every yr to prove this, some times i even give ferrets away for free if i know they going to be well looked after. And i am no anti i enjoy working my ferrets killing 13
  4. I am a rescue so who is the  :wankerzo4: now, ive ran a rescue for the last 6 years so if you going to try noise me up mate get your facts right.
  5. Cant see what some of the books are, could you please list also whee in scotland as might buy face to face.
  6. Not going to say anymore on this post as waste of time with folk like you. :wankerzo4:
  7. Glad she back home safe and well mate. the little was just out for a stroll, hehe
  8. ECE is very easily picked up on clothing & shoes ... people going to shows all over the place etc ... its not exclusive to vasectomised hob sharing Yes Kay i am very aware of this but Ece and STIs can be passed on by a vas hob and people should be made aware of what might happen if they share dont you agree.
  9. I tried a couple of times to make a box (should have stuck in at woodwork at school) in the end just bought a bow back twin box.
  10. Nice court mate, how high do it go though and have you limited it so the ferrets cant climb to the top as ive seen some ferrets fall from hight by climbing up the mesh and hurting them selfs real bad, 4" t0 6" drainage pipe running round half way up will stop them being able to climb to the top and falling.
  11. The normal digs are between 2/3 ft but did have to dig down to 6ft last yr, not for to get a ferret but to get the new mkt 3 collar my mate had not put on right, by luck it was an easy dig as was sand enen though it ment holding my mate by the anckles while he was head down in the hole. (double check collars are fitted correctly after this)
  12. Just to say it ok to share a vas hob if you know who owns it and that it has not been past about and the person who owns it knows there ferrets have been 100% healthy. as for borrowing one from a stranger then you must remember that you do not get condoms for ferrets and you run the risk of spreading disease such as ECE (green slime disease) if your healthy ferrets were to catch this then you might loose them all or at least some of them, and would prob most def miss out on some of next seasons hunting while you are trying to get your top ferrets back into tip top condition after they loose mo
  13. and the vets name and location IS????? You did say you would let us know. lol
  14. 6 weeks is far too young they dont en open there eyes until they almost 5 weeks, so how can they be fully weaned by then. :protest:
  15. Read above post againit the side steps he selling .
  16. Google the british ferret club they might be able to help.
  17. Top tip - if he do turn up i would say treat him for fleas and ticks as prob picked some tick eggs on his travels, best treating before they become a problem.
  18. Took me abit to work out how post pics too so you not alone mate. Yes am a computer numpty.
  19. Reguardless if same litter that dont mean they will not fight when there balls drop, yes some brothers will get on but most dont, if you were to get there nuts cut off within a week they would be able to go back together again. Not sure about the one with the jill but could it be he is also just being a horney boy or is it a case of him being pure nasty, What is he like with other jills? Mind hobs come in to season long before the jills. he was doing it a long time before his balls came down. Anti social ferret then, neutering him might help but ddoubt it.
  20. As you said with your jills so he be kept busy but if just with one more risk to having a marked neck.
  21. The mk 1 is a great bit of kit but deben dont fix them anymore and is hard to be fixed as they were smart enough to score of the numbers on some of the chips on the chip circuit making it hard for to be fixed by yourself, the thing i like about them is it will pick up any collar the mk 2 and mk 3 wont, this i see as a bit of a shame. The plus side is the money they fetch on ebay just seems to go up so even spares or repair with working collar think you might get £65 plus and be able to put towards a mk 3
  22. The only side effects i know off is phantom preg but you will get that with a Vas hob too, did hear of a jill taken a bad reaction to the jab but think the person was telling porky's as they were a known story teller. But nice to see you looking after the ferrets welfare and not letting them stay in season.
  23. she will swell up about a centimetre and she will be oozing aswell. i would give her a couple of days after that before i put your hob near her. And if when you try she fights with him and shows like she not for given up remove her and try again in about a weeks time.
