Tyson was a big puncher, and he used to put devastating combination's together, but the better fighters didn't hang around for him to get those combo's off. Tyson would revert to throwing single shots when his normal bullying style didn't work, and as he knew no other style of fighting he couldn't adjust. He was 1 dimensional in that respect.

I think it,s a misconception that Tyson was a devastating puncher , most of his kO,s pre Don king ,were the result of combinations culminating in the finishing shot ,when he lost Kevin Rooney as a trainer ,and therefore hs last contact with Cus,s training method it was the start of a downward spiral ,he started looking for the single big shot at the expence of the tried and tested method that had woed for him previously. Losing to Buster Douglas lost him his air of invincability, opponents no longer froze with fear TYson was a hard hitter , but not a one shot man against quality opposition . T

I don,t know , but in the past Nimrod and CMW in general have been snotty about EDRD ,so I was guessing thats where his comments were aimed .
