  1. always look forwar to those wee gems of pics dell.your best is the guy with the cant believe it expression. I know mate, I seriously gave it a big belly laugh when I first saw it Snap
  2. What language is that you're writing in mate? Did you go to the same school as whin. The person that told you that you could breed with her now was right, well you will be able to breed her when she comes in season, it wouldn't be the right thing to do but it would be possible. The better option would be to give her a few years graft and see how she turns out, if you're happy with her take it from there.
  3. We were catching hares with all types of crosses long before the Saluki got popular. Cheers. And still will be when fen running loses favour due to the ban
  4. Would that not be called a jacker if it had a bit of collie in it?
  5. ahh, so did I!! sorry, must learn to read! Snap
  6. 7 months? As above. 7 months it's still a VERY young pup. Why are people in so much of a fecking rush to start pups off? Give em time, more so with a lot of the bigger/greyhoundy types As l said not my pup and not the way l bring my own up but everyone till there own so less pup and more about 1/4 bull 3/4 greys pls No probs, I appreciate that everyone has their own way of doing things, it's just that the last few years it seems that most people who are getting involved with terriers and lurchers can't wait to get them started. The bigger or more greyhoundy a pup is the m

  8. That is almost the divvy quote of the year I think there was more than a hint of sarcasm in moo's post. If you were breeding a dog for deer then i would of always run it single handed to reduce damage to the meat, and rather than get hung up on a particular cross i'd buy a pup from proven deer catching parents.....
  9. Don't agree with that, horses, in my opinion, are some of the worst 'dog unfriendly' animals I've come across, especially at night '
  10. I think you're right there malt, I can hardly get my head round some of the things I've read on here lately...
  11. fair point pal but i only use her for ratting.started her at 4 months old and she was straight in to it. she would do heavier stuff, there is no doubt in my mind, digging lads would cum in there pants at this bitch but im not into that rats rabbits and hares is my game and it might take me 2 year to find a sutible stud that is good enough to put to her It takes more than a ratting dog to make terrier men toss off in there pants.
  12. No, but personally I try to keep my dogs away from any cats, they can ruin a dogs eyes quicker than a bad eye surgeon
  13. Behave yourself !! LOL !! Bull cross Cheers.
  14. I'd go along with that, but just a touch taller tts, seeing as you'd want a bit more height
  15. Recently, have seen some very nice bull crosses on here, to look at, but still haven't looked at, seen, or witnessed ANY first crosses to match a first x D/.G
  16. know how you feel mate new years resolution to myself this year was to get out more daytime with the dog,so far so good Sounds good to me. lol. Think this coming season I'll leave the lamping to the boy, he's keen as mustard and I couldn't keep up with him, besides, I'm enjoying actually seeing more, instead of just something at the end of the beam .
  17. Agree with a lot of that. Most of the land round my way is made up of fairly small, tight fields and you need a dog which is quicker off the mark than most first x D/G. A mate of mine, in south wales, worked and bred them for a number of years, but had to travel a long way to work the land that suited them, and although they did catch a few rabbits, it was at larger quarry that they excelled, and one in paticular was literally jaw dropping to watch! Very capable dogs and pleasing dogs on the right land
