See, now this is what I struggle to understand, too, not just you, francie!! It's perfectly OK for a falconer to fly a bird of prey on a brown hare, and it's OK. But it's totally against the law for someone that runs a dog at a hare, which it's going to kill it in a quarter of the time, roughly, as a bird of prey!! Why/what is that all about?!! Nothing against bop people, by the way.

Not personally, but my ex brother in law's whip/grey x beddy, broke a bone in his right front leg and badly damaged some tendons in his right shoulder, when he clipped a stone marker in the ground, after chasing a poxy rabbit on the brow of a short, steep hillock, at 5 years old. Properly rested him etc for months, then gradually got him back to fitness, and he was still catching plenty of rabbits, and even the odd hare now and again, even at 10 years old. Surprisingly tough, quick little dog!! Only 20.5" tts.

Yeah it does, but that cat looks HUGE. A quick Google revealed that most male mountain lions can get up to 175lb, unless that guy is a really small American football player, that cat is colossal!!

Not a dig, mate, more of an observation really. But when I used to lamp regularly, I'd have to practically double the amount I fed my dogs, compared to when they weren't worked regularly.
