  4. Kin el, Gooey, that's a bit of a conundrum for you!! Even the uk salukis are originally imports!!
  5. Come on now, Mack. We know you've been to several destinations around the world, but you can't tell me that any of them are as good as the magic changing room on festive road?!!

Just meant working/falling from heights in general, mate. Like if you was wearing a hard hat, you'd be less likely to suffer serious head injuries if you did happen to receive a good bang to the head. And when I said 'I've been there' I didn't mean I fell off a roof, just the head injury part lol.

    Slappers

Seen that one on YouTube, about a year ago, I think? Absolutely ridiculous 'sport'!!
  9. I've mentioned it on here, years ago, but I once owned a GSD bitch, years ago. She developed a severe colitis. At the time there was no cure. I put a lot of care and training into her, so wasn't prepared for the vet's recommendation to have her pts, at about 5 months. Anyway, a mate of mine took her off me, a while later, to guard his allotment and a few kennels. One of his lurchers, collie/grey xwhip/grey mated with her, and he kept a bitch pup from that litter, and lamped her with a fair amount of success. A couple of years later, he bred her with the sires litter broth

Maybe, just maybe, it could be a safety precaution in case you fell off said roof, of maybe 30 foot high, and hit the floor several miles per hour as your noggin hit the floor,!!! I've been there, 24 years ago, and am still suffering!! Not a personal dig at you Arry, just saying.
  11. Don't get all 'americanised' on us, mate. Can't FAAACKIN STAND IT!!! Lol
  12. Still sounds very useful lol. How tall, mate?
  13. Correct me if I'm wrong, D c, but you've had a many and varied amount of air rifles. What do you personally think the best vermin air rifle you've had was?
  14. I don't think you're being condescending, mate. Far too much snobbery in air rifle shooting. This TX I've got, was it worth £450 4 1/2 years ago, compared to many air rifles £150, or more, cheaper, that will kill vermin exactly the same way? Of course not. I knew when I bought it, that a fair amount of the asking price was going on the fancy woodwork. Yeah, looks lovely, but the squirrel, jackdaw, rat or whatever, doesn't give a f**k what the air rifle looks like!! Lol.
  15. I've got back into my air rifle shooting this last about 9 months. And I also miss my HW110. Perfect weight, balance, everything, and laser like accuracy. I also got rid because of the drop in power. Lost a bit of faith in that particular product then, but been tempted by the carbine version, especially if the power issues have been sorted. Getting too long in the tooth now to be lugging a TX 200 around for a couple of hours, even if it's the carbine model!! Lol.
  16. Sounds a useful type. Sire or dam pure whippet?
  17. Gsd/alsation bitch, greyhound sire, razzmatazz. Only answering this in case bird doesn't see your post for a while. If that's OK @bird?
