last year i dug cubs in janurary and that stoped me digging for the rest of the season so starting 2 weeks early just getting the dogs tuned in for the coming months.. with the bad weather there giving for this winter i dont think lads are going to get half the amount of work for there dogs as they would like to

brouht the pup out wit his mother for a few rabbits when i got the chance at a fox my mate was holding my i told him not to slip but he did any way the pup turned this fox and the bitch nailed him the pup was straight in . the fox got to bite the pup and the pup just lost the head and ragged the fox

Digging to another dog and dropping a pup in? And worse no other poster even mentions it? Biggest shortcut to failure i can think of. well wats ur way of introduction the dog has been at digs has seen action on the sod u tell us wats the next step

this pup has seen one on the sod and done well ,,i let the good bitch in the hole wit her and she was a bit more interested but still wouldn put her head into the dark i have a brother here and i know he is going to be mad but ill just put the extra timing in to this one ill keep use posted

i was out for a quick walk today and my bitch went to ground got a mark at 1.2 so start digging after a vary hard hour of digging we broke trough she had it well bottled up in a pot , so i took the bitch out and let my pup have a look this pup is 16 months she just stood back and every couple of mins she would give a couple of yaps but no way would she stick her head in my question is wat do u expect from a pup the first time at a hole

regards of the terrier judge calling lads by there names i know that judge real well and have had a few outings wit him and the terriers ,, i entered into 3 differnt terrier sections and didnt even win a roseet so dont be thinking he was picking his mates over other lads terriers

We had a dig last week alan,the ground is like iron still and unless we get a fair amount of rain soon its going to stay that way for awhile yet.Then you are probably like us and most other lads,young terriers to start so a few nice handy digs is the general thing this time of the year providing you have nice handy earths to dig,we tried a handy one last week which finished with an hour long dig through rocks and roots,but we got a result which is the main objective,hope everyone has a good season. i wouldnt mind a hard dig its heat i would be worried about
