Had similar mate. My Grandad was asked years ago by a friend if he would help him out one night with lamping some rabbits. I got to tag along, all exicted as a youngster... The guy was supplying the bullets so we took along the .22. Mag loaded and into the first feild.....lamp on and deary me the place lit up with red eyes....going to be a busy night... First rabbit in sights and "click"...... Dodgy bullet, who would have thought.......reload and 'click'....... Surely not 2 dodgy bullets?.....3..'click'.....4....'click' and 5....'click'..... :censored: Ah well thats the night spolie

i arranged a nights lamping with a mate (rip) we met at the pub 10 o`clock had a pint and got ready to go before we realised neither of us had brought a lamp each of us thinking the other would bring one, back in the pub .....Some stories lads. I remember when i was young we went to visit my Grandads brother, he had a hotel up North. Now i cant remember where it was but it looked over a big bit of water. I took some fishing gear. Turned up and my Dad help me set up and then i realised i had no bait. Just threw the hook in a few times, 5 mins later we were packed up and in the hotel. Think

As long as your standing guns are downwind of the foxes coming through then your fine. The ones that are too ground are not the concern on they days......... Surely that is the concern for the DAY ! get foxes moving,going to ground ,and accounted for ?
