Being ? honest the f1s sparked interest As some one breeding a decent f1 would be handy to know for if my 2 prove worthy down the road but it was when the guy carried on with reply’s to me true motives were shown king your feelings are correct I’m staying well out the way An shall not be asking for my name to be put down on one?? Ill stick to what I know an who I know were decent bedlington blood is required

I was getting quite excited as it’d be nice to see some decent bred bedlington greyhounds out there but the breeding out of 2yr old dogs did it for me that’s the point I wished all the best An good luck to be honest it’s just a visionary’s peddling racket in under cover as a breeding program you’d have to be a gullible fool not to see it ?? There’s no secrets about it slap a bedlington over a greyhound you have f1s to sell keep 2 An breed out of them at 2yrs old to produce more to sell 2+2=4 quick maths ??The only program is profit

2quid don’t get ya to far now days bill ive not really worked out how much I pay for tripe but it’s more than your getting it for I know that much I mean for most us lads wanting to raw feed we get our pants pulled down because we can’t store a lot so we buy in smaller quantities An can’t store up a bargain at the time were raw is concerned I try my hardest to keep my little dog chests freezer jamming as much as I can with mixed raw foods I do well a few times a year as the local sheep farm gives me a couple of fallen old breeding ewes for dog food I can’t store it all but sort a couple of lo

Feck me were going on to cooking classes of the stuff now ????Wonder who will be first to argue that the optimum cooking temperature is wrong
-
I’ve always classed tripe as a meat same as heart but couldn’t care less what other people class it as tbh all I know is dogs love the shit An do really well being fed on plenty of it but price of the gear is creeping up due to there being larger demands for it now days with more people feeding raw

Are you going to be line breeding bedlington greyhounds mate or just type breeding or f1 only mate? I’d really like to see how your program gets on fella
-
In my eyes the breeding and ability has to be there on both sides for the breeding for it to gel
-
All the best fella hope the breeding breeds 1 or 2 good uns that do the job in hand
-
To get that bond it all starts at the beginning with time and fun with balls and other objects to make a bond between man an dog

You know the voice I mean neck not to be confused with the barman voice of authority ????

I’ve always found what works for me is take full advantage of a pups ability to want to follow you that when it stops to have a sniff or look about recall it get the recall going then once the pups getting the hang of coming back to you on call then start to teach retrieve as after all a retrieve is a extension on recall my 14week old pup will retrieve a few different items she goes completely nuts at the sight of a tennis ball so that’s our object of choice at the moment she’s retrieved a few different type dummies all in play to me so far including a weighted rabbit pelt dummy I’ve not tried

I think your right mate my first impression was someone had got a bit excited An recited the writings of a bummer book
-
I don’t think even in the modern bedlingtons they have much control over size as it’s up an down in size I know a guy that used to have a straight bedlington at 20tts that he used to lamp for novelty it used to do alright for a bit of fun
-
Most bedlingtons are talked up by enthusiast or breeders of kc bedlingtons most are not what there made out to be don’t be gullible in going on someone’s word alone that there good get to see them work first be it bushing bedlington, fox dog,or ferreting bedlington after all your trying to produce decent dogs you need the best ingredients in the melting pot not no names in a kc dog

With my pup I don’t do all that much distance to be fair I’m growing her on a bit first.Iwalk her round a couple of fields if it’s her on her own (bretty decent size fields round here)then get her back home I don’t have her off the lead when I’m out with the other bitch as the other bitch finds stuff pretty regular if it’s there she’ll find it an I don’t want the pup thinking she should run gear yet I don’t also have the pup of the lead when the older bitch as a rule as I’m not a fan of watching really young pups chasing after older dogs as they push there selfs trying to catch them I mean sur

How much is to much it’s a question always in my head as it’s a easy thing to over do being keen to be out an about with the dogs having the pup/pups tag along to kill two birds with one stone an all that

Never give mine cooked bone but nothing is waisted in our house scraps go to the dogs cooked chicken carcasses get boiled bones removed then the stock gets given to the dogs
-
I’d eat it no problem black neck don’t fancy the biscuits though I eat little processed food
-
I used to feed 50/50 I’d done so for years never had no problem doing so it was always the cheapest raw I could get my hands on plenty of rabbit an road kill deer dogs were always fit an healthy to do the job but that was when I was low payed An struggling to make ends meet not a lot as changed bar I’m comfortable now money wise I feed 75% raw an 25% biscuit as it suits me an the dogs this is my pups breakfast
-
Not with my little arms you wouldn’t ?I’d spend more time trying to get it from grazing field to field than riding the machine
-
Can’t beat a good gin black neck??
