    I agree mate it’s coming sadly us running dog lads/lady’s are a easy target as we don’t produce a taxable revenue from our pursuits like most Other rural hobbies/pursuits were a easy target to be sacrificed an Chucked under the bus for other rural pursuits to save there selfs it’ll be a sad day for ferreters an lads/lady’s that run rabbits but like you’ve said just carry on walking the dog ?

    Not really a secret though is it bill You’ve said before you’ve had most conventional crosses An you don’t rate none of them lol it’s either a malli x or a gsd x or a mix of the both ???     I’m running a home bred collie greyhound whippet greyhound deerhound out of my old bitch x to a bedlington greyhound she done a little bit back end of last season bit of ferreting bit of lamping she’d done ok she’s come in to this season on good form for a green as grass bitch tbh she seems to be putting them rabbits to bed pretty consistent giveing we have no large numbers about just pockets about seem to be getting them all back live to hand with no complications the heat was added to see what she was made of without no problems so far I’ll just keep getting her out offering as much work as

    Cheers for the advice fella ??I shall beat my dog properly before every run from now on just so the machine knows not to miss out shall I stop feeding it as well if I have any more misses to hit it home a little harder that a miss is not good for our working relationship.

    I don’t really get that feeling no more freelancing I used to when I was younger because I thought I was Bob Marley an smoked the herb ?? the paranoia way immense I think it sort of trained my brain for the worst case that could happen but never did. I always keep my wits about me still when freelancing but if I got stopped an pulled up I’d admit fair cop with no hostility unless they hurt my dog it’d be like releasing the cracken
