I’d rather feed it chapie tbh mate it’s not worth nothing to me being a cheap lamp to its original buyer an a hand me down the poor old lamp as had a good life been worked hard she’s enjoying her retirement
-
Fed on chapie if it’s had a good night I give it electrolytes but to be honest could do with a good worming ?
-
Bit like this lamp 7-8 dogs in done the full cycle bedlington xs bullxs collie xs then back to bedlington xs before it was retired

Back ya on the tripe mate good gear my pup gets tripe as part of her mixed diet most days my pups growing like a weed on the stuff I can’t recommend tripe enough if your raw feeding lovely stuff
-
What sort of cross you after fella?
-
Maybe but you don’t ask you don’t get. Be handy to know we’re there one doing the business for down the road if shit hits the fan
-
Only interested in f1 bedlington greyhound dog preferably not interested in any other cross only f1
-
So who on here as got a bedlington greyhound f1 that’s taking shot fox regular or tracking shot deer as well as working the lamp or ferreting rabbits just out of interest
-
So not so proper dog men after all then! I’ve seen a few times over the years we’re so called proper dog men breed a litter An think there reputation as good dog men or status in the game automatically means good reared pups Some of the time these dudes think corners can be cut to save on rearing cost An miner detail in rearing because of status in the game they think that breeding alone or how much gear the parents seen is a sure thing on end result of quality litter. In my eyes all aspects have to be in order in a litter quality and condition has to shine through in the parents and pups alik

Looks like mange to me ??Hope you get it sorted quickly I’d be contacting the breeder give them the heads up an ask for vets fees if they get on the offensive name an shame the feckers if there on here no excuse for letting pups go like that
-

-
She’s out of my old line bred collie greyhound deerhound greyhound whippet greyhound bit put to a f1 bedlington greyhound mate
-
You jammy bugger??

Same round here mate the under growth is still high there’s one or two pasture fields that could be lamped a lot of the crop fields are rape seed fields that have not been plowed flat the stems are like sharp rods hanging out the ground the ground round here’s still baked to be up to much at the moment
-
Cheers two crows ??Tbh it’d be a bit foolish of any one to say a dog with saluki blood is no good as a rabbit dog if it’s doing the job already I mean we all have our favourite crosses how mines bred is my favourite bred type of cross that I rate for my needs but may not suit others needs if it works it works I guess I know a few dogs with saluki blood An bull blood in there Lurchers that catch rabbits well on the lamp good tough lamp dogs that take a nock I mean that’s not there main use but there adaptable to work there surroundings. People say saluki Lurchers are thick as pig shit An can’t

Same as me pal gotta be done though ??
-
It’s gotta be done mate ??The gayest voice = the quit feminine soft soppy fur baby voice you can do ive found some of the best dog trainers are female that seem to get the best results when training Lurchers is involved. How much of a twat ya sound to on lookers is irrelevant if your getting the results you require. I’m the same mate couple of times a week definitely not stupid they’ve a good memory I was once told dogs are stupid my reply was take the dog were it’s had a catch before an watch what it’s body language tells you
-
Same as me pal met more scummy c**ts in the dog game than any were else in life. For most people cash is king it’s crazy ain’t it
-
It’s not how little they value them on purchase as it’s a blank canvas that could be bought for as little or as much you want to pay that could amount to a nothing no matter how much times put in to them the value of a expensive pup is the same as a pup that don’t cost as much at this time there individual value comes to the owner once you’ve got a bond going on training is under way An when there entered they become priceless and arepart of the family by then. Price is always down to the purchasing body of the pup you pay your money take your chances
-
That’s how it should be davie
-
I don’t want to pay much for nothing to be honest in life I mean working lurchers have always been the dogs of people that ain’t got a lot of disposable cash to put food on the table in harder times it’s still besides me why people think they need to spend silly sums of cash to have a interest in a pretty much a poor mans rural game the lamping game is simplicity the only thing I’ve really spent any money on was a lithium 22amp battery that was £220 that was about 4 seasons ago I bought a 170 variable copy £28 of eBay a shit back pack from Argos for about £14 clothing wise I wear old clothes b

Money people charge for Bedlington whippets is going mental at the moment I’ve noticed there becoming a bit of a designer Lurcher you have all these pet people breeding them An horsey type people breeding them as a side line same as terriers there all at it.it’s shocking there part of the parcel why I believe there going down hill fast it’s the novelty pet people then they breed to put more pet Lurchers out there I’d not have another bedlington whippet tbh as a working dog I’d avoid at all cost if someone said right you’ve got to take one of these two crosses bedlington whippet or a saluki bul
