i was writing my post when you posted this exactly what i was thinking but you worded it better my mates the sme with his dog hot headed twat he is had a go at him a few times over remember once when he finally called it in he got on top of it and nutted it in the ribs sounds funny but i didnt think so at the time but what was funny was during the scuffle the dog lashed its foot out and hit him in the mouth and its nail cut his gum open so he was spitting blood all the way home.and his dogs shit because of him

try not to get too pissed off when he does it i know its hard but they know when your angry with em and some wont come back because of this and be patient with em especially at this age.or try running after quarry yourself, if you can catch up with and rugby tackle a lurcher thats running away from you might get a few that way!

as someone said theres plenty of terriers that kill them maybe not every day but a dog the size of a saluki should have no problem if its got the right frame of mind

same here just got back everywhere still soaked seen four rabbit all night been out four and half hour on foot 3 were right by the edge found one out squatting and the dog missed it looked like he was running on wet tar pissed off even the grasslands are covered in puddles at least we try though ay

dont know if they need it or not and dont feed them much of it i just like to give them a variety and a bit of a filler if they work hard and they get mostly some kind of meat or fish so just thought it would balance it up a bit knew a greyhound racer who fed a bit of pasta or brown bread to put a bit of weight on.im not that fussy as long as they at the right weight and work alright on it it all comes out the other end if there body dont use it but they seem to like it and there shits look ok its only now and again wouldnt feed it every day.

mines shit when she comes in sniffing about hunting up on lamp and dont seem to be as fit id rather use one of the dogs for a few weeks but i try to keep her fittish til shes back to normal but takes a good few weeks

think i might have seen similar does it look a bit like rabbit food might try a bit next time if its cheap enough.only use redmills once or twice a week when running hard too much gives one of mine the shits and i like to give em achange every day or two think ill try the pedros if they stock it and use it instead of the redmills couple of times a week if they get on with it sounds better than biscuit how much a bag 15kg redmills lasted me a while because i dont use it everyday

is there any side effects or bad points with these suppressents and would spaying be better if not plannimg to breed.would rather keep options open as bitch not too old to breed but would rather have her out working.basically what is the better option for a bitch that comes in season every winter and not that bothered about breeding from her.spayed before and seemed to put weight on and lack a bit of fitness maybe different for every bitch but i only done itonce and regretted it.

yeah i use rice or pasta now and again.tuna sardines butchers scraps raw bones bit of veg leftover meat and veg from our dinners raw rabbit they catch.tried some meat nuggets from pet shop think its called natural diet or something got rice and veg mixed in raw meat but worked out about four quid a kilo so they only get that now and again.got a bag of redmills racer for backup or when they working hard

dont use them myself but agree with the rice bit thought they were more for racing dogs but if the dogs getting loads of work suppose they would help i just try to give variety but my dogs probably dont see as much work as some

my terrier usually has one puffed eye after a days bushing just keep em clean make sure theres nothing in there they should be ok after couple days got to expect it some of the stuff they run through head first

sorry forgot to say it can be up to nine weeks after the heat til they get back to normal
