That's nice ?

And . You seem to think they are easy. I'm saying some would be and some wouldn't, same as anywhere. You from Glasgow?
-
There's some very big fields on the outskirts with very good roe on them seed fields . 12 miles north of Glasgow there's some decent herds of reds . Sika 20 miles south . Fallow , well your best travelling 50 miles north . Seen them shift in these areas . And each in their own right / terrain could be formidable

Best of luck with her

She certainly looks the part . What was her failing if you don't mind me asking . She looks quick just standing there . Long enough on the back . I'd imagine maybee a lack of wind . She'd still find a bit next season . But if it's not there it's not there

All the better . You should be flushing them to the birds . Lol . How do you think THE rangers will do tonight . I'm heading to Celtic park soon

It does work . The more you introduce fresh blood the better . And the infection is best controlled by doing the removals after a load of frosts . Although. Rhvd1 can lay dormant on the ground for 150 days and as the name says , is viral . No fleas needed . My belief is that we , the pursuers of the rabbit actually spread the disease moving from place to place . But they reckon its transferred on birds feet etc. All we can do is keep loads of small pockets topped up . Eventually the humble rabbit will overcome these horrible diseases just as he has built up immunity to mixy . Do your bit lad

Rhvd wiped the land of rabbits in the last 20 year . If your dropping rabbits, then do so . But you need to diversify the strains . Ferret 3 different regions. Do it at this time of year after some hard frosts . You must dig out old burys and release there . Preferably near villages etc where they get some peace from the shooters . If they last a month watch them take hold over the summer. It does work . But just dropping them at thick cover and nog opening the burys is a fruitless waste of time and live rabbits.

The demise of the English/Irish greyhound.

To me the galgos suit the terrain/ ground conditions in spain. But here, their running style would get you landed in the clink. It would be interesting to see them on the soft , up to there wrists. What would there running styles be ? . Id imagine they would still have the slashing gung ho style which to me our own animals bred specifically for that game , would bury them . But until someone gives it a go , we won't know . -
Good post two crows . For me it's a dog that can take real good winter quarry on and force the error . Not needing cover / ditches to help out . And do it consistently time and again ?
-
Totally get where your coming from . But understanding and rearing dogs with that blood is key . ( bonding ) . I love non ped whippet blood in my dogs . Have had collie xs and beddy xs . My point is , there are few dogs capable of manipulating it's quarry as a ( good ) dog with Sal blood . Imho. And to get a gooden , you need to be patient. And I also believe , even tho they take longer to come on . The have more durability. Yours Benny ?

How many of the saluki blood crabbers have reared a puppy like a lurcher and having taken the pup on ,knowing they respond to gentle rearing . Brought on that little bit slower and gave them the time to mature properly and still hate them . But can honestly say they have known what they are doing before rearing it . Genuine question .?

They can read what's ahead of them . Have good feet . And some can hunt up as good as most

I havnt spoken to black wrecking it for a long time . Met a lad last week who knows him well . Told me he was keeping to himself. Last time we had words he apologised for shit stirring few year back . Starting up names on here. The apology was accepted. I'm not on faceless book pal . So I wouldn't know
