I've took in 2 dogs, never adopted them as such.... First one was a mongy thing, its owner didn't have time for it, it wasn't abused or anything, so I took it in had to bath her 5 times to get her clean...fed her up, plenty of walks, she wasnt good with kids but went to better home, she died last year from cancer. Other was a staff, I'd seen it get kicked, punched locked in a shed by its owner, it made my blood boil instantly, after a few weeks of seeing this happening, I took the dog it was aggresive with my dogs to start with, quickly settled in, I basically, for want of a better wor

I wouldn't worry about a dollop-a-day there is probably more salt and sugars in dry/wet dog food than a dollop of ketchup, we're not talking fish and chips here.... Besides mother's dog is 12 and (I seriously doubt its due to the ketchup) hasn't been to the vet since its first injections! But worth trying the juice instead to be on the safe side!

I have to admit I feel safer being a full BASC member than the NGO, CA and BASA which I'm also a member of, they just seem to be better organized and more professional than the others, plus they have all the support numbers. But like someone else said, BASC should cover more areas in there mag, oh and the northwest! Last time I rang the NGO it sounded like it was just someones wife answering the house phone which doubles as there memebers number. I feed mine chuddley's if there is no raw meat available, raw meat does bring the best out of them, everyone i know has commented how there coats shine and ask what I feed, thou they usually turn there noses up when i tell em raw meat, like i'm being cruel or something.... Chicken feet cost next to nothing and can be fed whole, even with the claws (admittingly daunting)! even my 5 month old cocker x eat's em with hardly any teeth but both dogs love them... Mince is cheap thou I don't use that pet shop mince shite, theres more hair than meat and they stink. Smart price roasting join

My bitch did the same, dogs can burn the grass aswell but as they usually piss up something so it doesnt burn as much! She has killed off half the turf I laid a few month ago in my back garden.... Anyway, my mum had her garden re-turfed last year and her dog hasn't ruined her grass so she told me what she does, a dollop of tomato sauce on her dogs food stops it from happening, i've tried it with my dogs and so far the other half is still lush green grass!! She said if you forget the sauce for a few days you will notice burn marks coming so it does seem to work. I was told then

I personally recommend that the only thing you buy is some good books, watch as many DVD's as you can, go for plenty of walks and think hard before you buy anything else..... There's far to many airguns being sold by "wannabee hunters" that end up on some council estate being shot by some thug at cats, ducks, cars and even people and far to many dogs being sold over and over till theres no value and they get dumped. Leaving the genuine people with the bad name!! Then after thinking over everything you've learn't, join a air gun club, hone your skills there, not on live quarry, "one s

Haha not what you need when you come back from the detist! - I've had the corner of a 50" plasma chewed, the remote barely works now, laptop charger, 2 dog beds, 3 phone/data cables, 2 boxes and the beading on the wooden floor, I now cage them and they seem to love it!!

I got mine for £208.40 delivered from optics warehouse and there still selling them for that price now! Interesting they quote the below on there listing:- "Gives 2 hours 10mins with 100 watt bulb light duration and 4 hours 20 mins with 50 watt bulb"

I have 22ah and it lasts 6 hour nights easy but as some have said I dont have it on constantly only when needed and its put on charge the next morning! I have used it for around half hour (maybe more) constantly on once when I was clearing rubbish out of an old cellar, the battery lasted fine but it went off as it melted the cig/bullet plug on the lightforce 170!

Apart from the switch there pretty much the same, quality wise included. My mate has one and I have lightforce and there seems to be no difference, in fact the filters for the u-caller are the same as lightforce filters aswell but cheaper.
