  11. why the fek would you put a dog in sheep dip?.. itll probebly end up with more than flat feet if you do !!! yeah mate don't put him in sheep dip,get him wormed and de-flead,some good grub into him and TLC,sounds as if he has had a bad start YEAH MATE HE HAD A BAD START,HE IS A LOVELY LOOKING DOG,I TOOK PITY ON HIM TO BE HONEST,I BROUGHT HIM DOWN TO A DOG GROOMER,TO WASH HIM I KNOW THE GROOMER,HE TOLD ME TO PUT A BIT OF SHEEP DIP IN A BOTTLE WITH LUKE WARM WATER,AND WASH HIM WITH IT,I AM GIVING HIM GOOD FOOD,HE IS VERY NERVOUS YET BUT,TRYING TO GET USED TO HIM,THANKS FOR THE HELP
  12. Just try bathing the ear every so often, as its the same when we gets scabs we tend to pick at them an scratch them just to ease the itchin, the dogs doing the same, thats why its shakin its head probably tryin to stop the irritation. Just make sure there is nothin lodged in the ear. if it's yellow and crusty it's most likely an infection,i have 2 cockers, the spanials often get problems with their ears, with them in the water alot their ears get wet and because of the amount of hair and skin around the entrance to the ear,it gets nice and warm and damp in there,a perfect place for ear

  14. i have been teaching my wee bitch to jump in the last week,i put a wooden bar across the entrance at the side of my house about 3 inches high well she is only 2 mths old,i let her do this 3 times a day while retreiving an old sock, for doing this i let her rag the sock for a few minutes when she is finished and then take it of her,the key i think is to be patient and don't over do the exercise, little and often,cheers......john

  22. hi all,i have been introducing my 8 week old 3/4 whippet 1/4 bedlington to the ferrets for the last week, she is starting to get a bit confident now, today she was running around playing with the ferrets, sometimes it looked like they were squaring up to each other, the ferret arching his back and jumping around mad and molly chasing him,the thing is should i just let them carry on and have some fun while keeping an eye on them or should i nip this behavour in the bud right away, all comments taken on board,cheers......john
  23. the lamping ferreter,i think if you look back at some of the comments you will see that mc was actually telling me to go slow with my pup,she is 7 wks old not 20mths.cheers......john
