  5. hi mate,i have just bought a 3/4 whippet 1/4 bedlington, she is also my first lurcher,i will be using her for ferreting,it took me around 3-4 mths do decide what lurcher to get that would suit both me and the dog,i had alot of help on here about making my decision, for what you want your dog to do,sounds as if 1 of these dogs would be just what your looking for,as for being ripped of,well if the breeder is any good at all he will have the pups best interest in mind and won't be to bother about raking in the cash,i payed £100 for mine and both parents were seen and are working, hope this helps c

  13. i have noticed that there is alot of training tips on this forum for lamping with lurchers, but i havn't seen many about training for rabbiting daytime with the ferrets, how would i go about entering my pup for rabbiting and mooching during the day,i have had dogs before so the basic commands won't be a problem, just never had a lurcher,i would be very interested in looking at your different methods/ideas on how you all go about it.I will be picking her up on saturday and she is a 3/4 whippet 1/4 bedlington and she is 7 wks old, looking forward to your reply's,ATB...........john
