  13. Ok ill share seeing as ye havent took the time to read up what it is before ye post it good stockmanship covers a wide range of principles and key factors rearing a litter of pups is 1 of those factors but a scrape in the barrel dogs and hounds also covers a wide range of factors and differs greatly from the man who keeps a dog or two to the man that keeps a pack of hounds or keeps a tight bred bloodline of working dog, there is the basics feeding, nutrition, exercise, kenneling health and maintenance while working or resting these factors apply to both men and are a basic part of stockmanship
  14. No mate i am not a farmer i think farm stock and working dogs or hounds there is slight differences in stockmanship, also in say raceing greyhounds and raceing pigeons there is slight differences but similar principles

  16. The thread was about good stockmanship pal not about the best way to rear a litter the problem lay in the fella that posted the thread doesnt exactly know what good stockmanship entails he may come back later after he has read up about it on the internet i think
  17. This was in relation to the caring for a litter, if you want to expand on the care of your working dog be my guest And again ye look like ye have alot to learn its more than just about caring for an animal why dont ye google it before posting something or better still give an opinion from past experiance
