  1. Right, cheers Rocky1 taken you advice and looked around for more info, as far as I am aware 'Tracer' is a gun mounted lamp made by Deben and the do get good feedback, there is a handle that can be attached soo it can be used for our sort off lamping I think what Fordie was meaning is the 'Ucaller' lamps instead off 'Tracer'? There is a mixed review with them, some say there cushtie and alot cheaper but most say a little heavier and a lot poorer quality (shite beam, fragile, wiring ect) Any body seen or used them and what do you think?
  2. Ordered mine on friday, came through the door tuesday Had a flick through and read the first 17 pages as soon as I got it, happy days! Cheers Mr Darcy. Lending it straight to a mate though, as he already lent me Scooby, am half way through and cant put it down as it is!
  3. Thanks alot for the replys, quality advice and my mind is made up, variable it is Now just thinking about what Fordie said about the Tracer over the Lightfore lamps Better the devil you know? Not one too grumble over a few quid but the sometimes big (More known or expensive) brand arnt always the better, had a mate get some off the 'Bisley' 4z purse nets over some home made's too save a few pound... Its more coin for the dogs at the end of the day, bit more fresh raw and juice for the car
  4. Right then, its payday tomorow and I am going to treat myself to a shiny new lamp, am going for a Lightforce Striker but carnt decide whether to get a standard one or go for variable power. I can see the Pro's of the variable eg saving battery life and using low light when sneeking about but having never used one I cant really rate them, any suggestions? What do you prefer and why? Cheers, Bleachtastesnice
  5. Just started reading 'Scooby'

  6. Alright mate, got my 1/4 bull grey pup on Redmills Excel, I use it as his main feed (32% Protien) , its nice and easy and costs me about £25 a month, he's always getting raw mixed in aswell (Maby 3 or 4 times a week) and I bang him the odd egg every now and again ( No more than 1 or 2 a month). When he was just on the redmills the scats where a bit loose at first (Maby too rich? Lack of fiber, starch ect?) but since I started mixing in a bit of raw its ne dramas at all
