cant stand them had a one horned beast chasing me litteraly inches from my arse when i was young shit me up but made my mates laugh as i was being clever , oh they wont hurt ya What sort of places and people did you knock around with when you were younger?
  3. I have two cockers and a lab, labs will do a good all round job and personally i wouldn't rule them out because they are one of the easiest gundogs to train. Personally I'd get a cocker though, nice and small and easy to train with more brains than a springer
  4. I say leave them alone, they're doing no harm to me. Once they've been kicked off that site you never know they could end up next to you or me, i say let the soft southern shandy drinking arse bandits keep them. Wind yer kneck in I'm joking
  5. All depends on what your concrete floor is like, if it's an old cottage it will more than likely need a latex based floor leveller applied first which will increase the cost of the job quite a bit. Not labour wise as it takes no time at all to put the stuff down it's the material cost the will bump the price up. As for a metre price I'd say anything from £15-£25 depending on the size of the job, if it's a big area i'd be trying to get them down price wise
  6. Knock them out with a big stick and bum them
  7. Don't slate me for asking this as I'n not into lurchers but have an interest in dogs Are any breeds of gundog used in any of the lurcher crosses? Just curious as alot of the trialling lines are bred for speed and temperament
  8. only if you don't explode You been talking to my missus I told her it'd never happened before
  9. Depends will I get penetrated?
  10. Sorry but quite frankly, yes I can....if you own an animal of that size that could kill someone quite easily, you have the responsibility to be in control of it whatever the situation. If it's not dead, that woman is going to have control (or rather lack of control) over that horse this weekend when there's going to be hundreds of people around, if the same thing happens then I dread to think what the outcome would be! can't really compare that to some knob on the park who's mongrel won't come back to him can you! That knob on the parks mongrel that won't come back to them may well of

  12. I'm glad you're all ok Thing with horses os that they are flight animals and can spook easily.lets be fair a lot of dog handlers have trouble keeping control of their dogs so you can't really blame someone who's horse may of got the better of them, you don't know what caused the situation in the first place
  13. A dog is never to old to learn, the problem arises trying to get the bad habbits out of the dog

  17. I'm not into running dogs but if that was legal i think i'd buy a couple
  18. Heres a reply to a similar question I added on another forum. What i forgot to add was always start a new/young dog off with the wind into their faces as this will help to keep them flat. Some people will say also to do it on ground without to much scent but i prefer to have plenty of scent about Hard to say about walking without seeing the problem. How old is she? If she's still young (under 12 months) take some tripe/crushed biscuit out in a bag with you.Sit her up facing you and throw some tripe/crushed biscuit to one side then cast her off in that direction.Let her hunt th
  19. I'd say get onto the council and ask them first before your neighbour does.Make out you're trying your hardest to avoid a situation and get it put on record
  20. It's about the welfare of your dog mate I'm surprised some people are allowed to breed dogs let alone have kids
  21. I was being serious .I'm not saying shoot at the ballons I'm saying use it as a deterrent. They know they are tresspassing by landing on your land and by constently doing it they obviously see you as a soft touch (sorry).Unless you do something that makes them realise that they are tresspassing and you will not tolerate it I'd say get used to it.You're either going to do something to deter them from flying over your land or make it very difficult to gain access to your land to remove their balloon which give the police plenty of time to get there or get some friends to confiscate the ballon un
