  2. Looks like sheep rustling is on the increase,there's been a several incidents in the lancs area reported, the latest involved 271 sheep taken from one farm late at night.sheep rustling.

Absolutely made up!! been popping round the local farms this week and whilst all of them were very welcoming and friendly none were really keen. however my mate rang me last night and said a guy he worked with lived next door to a farmer who was absolutely sick of the rabbits on his land and also had a serious pigeon problem, apparently half of his chicken feed goes to the pigeons so hes gettin mega pissed off! music to my ears! cant wait to get there, going early tomorrow morning so fingers crossed will have some pics and a good write up tomorrow :yahoo: Hi Tepper,i'd
  4. What i mean about polecats with red eyes is that the mutation has not occurred yet,it has not been recorded scientifically(as far as i know)hence why i think it is impossible for now, Higgins.

Was speaking to an old friend yesterday(he's prone to exagerating lol)he swears he's had amongst others, ferrets with webbed feet(asiatic ferret perhaps),polecats with albino eyes(i'd have thought impossible), and some deep chocalate browns(various shbades of brown are possible).Just curious about the polecat with albino eyes,i'm sure this cannot happen as it's an albino gene.   8. where you from pal i'm interested in going this year,have been before to Cemaes Bay rock fishing for dog fish(bull huss i think!),some tips i have are use old spark plugs for casting weights,it's a good crack up there,let me know when you thinking of going, Higgins. i just moved to anglesey, near moelfre. hopefully getting myself kitted out in the next few weeks then can start experimenting, will let you know cheers mate look fotward to that,send me a pm when your ready thanks, Higgins

  13. with work etc; don't get to handle mine enough but because they are bred from a good strain,thbey are well tame and can be handled anytime,makes working with them that much easier,have had enough of nippers and biters, Higgins.
  14. work is none other than legalised slave labour,no better than prison,i have often thought that governments create criminals so they can generate revenue,anyway i plan to retire permanently shortly,opting out of the system so to speak,but if i ever hit hard times i will no doubt commit a 'crime',a fairly common sort of crime just so i could have a roof over my head and some meals, Higgins.

  17. Surveillance is a deifinte requirement these days round here and should be included in everyone's design,just look back through the posts on here, that should reinforce the need for it, Higgins.

Bull you could save money on a different configuration,smaller solar panel,one battery etc,just remember to make sure there is enough power for the needs of your kennel,atb, Higgins yes i need to look into the right size and also what i will use the energy for, so i get the right set up Get the largest size (in Amps)batteries and largest Solar panel you can afford,these are the two main components,good luck, higgins.

Cheers SuperSam,i reckon yours would be the Rolls Royce of kennels if you added that, Higgins. dont know why i didt think of that i just ran the electricty from the house to the runs. your way would have defo saved me in the long run. Yes i know we learn a lot of tings after in hindsight,but mains is preferable for convenience,i also have mains hook up to outside wall socket but at less the cost of running lines etc, HBiggins.

  22. how much does the solar kit work out at? as im looking into installing it in the future, when i start my block kennels, cheers BULL101,solar panel watt £160,batteries approx £150,inverter £150 and solar charge controller £20,hope that helps, Higgins. Just edited this to say that i'm powering my shed and kennel with this set up,in my shed i have heating,lights,internet and link up to kennel for light and heat,later i will add solar ventilation/fan for summer to keep dogs cool, Higins.

Just like to offer an idea to N E POACHER for his kennels when they are finished(sorry no construction ideas!)get youself a medium size solar panel set up to power lights,heat and wireless camera protection against theft,that should top it all,good luck!Super Sam nice kennels,if you can afford it to build the best for your dogs and bird,that's your business and i say you've done a grand job for yours,i would go to the same expense if it made me and my dogs feel better,good hunting lads, Higgins.
