The adult's are as hard as nail's mate it's the baldy chick in the nest that will suffer..i bet they has been load's of chick's in the wild perished before they got chance to fledge..this time last year the garden was full of young sparrow's from out of the ivy..this year i am yet to see one..

Load's are missed during the rining/breeding season through one thing or another..i have a couple of adult's here that where not rung for one reason or another...BUT aslong as you can prove where they came from you are ok..and if you do know anyone with legit unrung bird's they should go for free :yes:

If they are not rung they is no guarantee they are legal so they can not be sold at show's or auction's.

Rung two goldie chick's 2hr's ago and it is hit and miss if they stay on..when i do the third one tomorrow i will super glue the fooker's on if they come of..

My lamping season finnished ages ago and the total tally my first season bitch has had is 74 bunnies and a pheasant with some of them being daytime..i will still be haveing daytime mooches with no intention to catch anything and what she does catch from now till the lamping start's again will not be counted.. -
It's obviously a family/culture type of thing.. she will of been doing that while in nappies..
