  4. Do i get a cut.. ..give me a bit of time i may know one or two folk..
  5. Oh, that's rubbed in alright, mate! F**k me, I'd be scurrying around on my hands and knees, trying to find them! What a shame we can't team up. I could sit on the back of your quad and you could slip me on the runners! " Goooooarrrrnn, Pete!!! "
  6. Just to rub it in a bit more Pete.. They is also load's of Curlew and Lapwing trying to lead me away from there young on the same spot..the funny thing's keep flying infront of me and landing then running of a million MPH.. .. i don't mind seeing them but it's a ball ache looking for there nest's or chick's when bombing along on the quad .
  7. You want to try and source some beam clamp's they are a bit more expensive..
  8. I think the best place to ask that question would be at the Airport..
  9. I have just done some google images and it could well of been a black redstart..if i had my camera with me i would of been able to make the colour out exactly..but we will never know..
  10. The sooner the cull is brought in on the badger's..all the better it will be for all ground nesting bird's..them Martin's won't help either i would imagine.. I'm not 100% what bird it was that came from the wall as it landed around 25yrd's away and it was hard to make the colouring out..it was around about the size of a redstart and same shape..with a dark grey body and a darker coloured head..
  11. It's the bird's that need stopping not me..
  12. They are more or less weaned now as i have seen most of them at the feeder's and tucking in for themself's.. Here is a family shot..all the 6 BBC rung chick's sat with the lutino cock bird..it's not the best of picture's but it's hard work getting a picture with them all sat together..
  13. Well here is a updated picture for anyone interested.. ..the 3 of them are still doing fine and by the look of thing they are just about ready to leave home.. ..
  14. I thought it was a grey Wagtail..
  15. Here you go Pete this should get your juices flowing..
  16. Pete where i have been trapping mole's up on the fell land i have seen several Wheatear's in the area and what i think was a blackcap flew out of a dry stone wall when i stopped the quad to open a gate..but could i hell find the nest.. Back to the topic title Rex i fear you will be hard pressed to get a viable adult Goldie at this time of the year..
  17. I thought you where saying it was under the sole pad when you moved it..
  18. That will be a dunnock i susspect..but it sound like a funny spot for one of them..
  19. Personaly i would keep them away from her..if she has killed 2 already it is more than likely that she will do the rest..get them under a electric hen or heat lamp and you won't have to worry about loosing anymore to her..
  20. For all you have come over as abusive luke i have to agree with you on some of your point's..and i am sure you will get less enemies on here if you are a bit more civalized toward's other genuine folk..
  21.  ..On a good note though i have met many many folk from the internet over the year's dating back to around 2004 and maybe before when the origional Moocher's Forum was alive..i am still in contact with several of those folk's who are good genuine people..and some not so genuine..but as the saying goes..There's nowt so queer as folk..
  22. I can't for the life of me understand why anyone would want to bring two pup's up together or even think it's better to do it that way.. ..a pup brought up on it's own will think for itself more and learn new task's all by itself..it will have nothing to pick bad habbit's up from..it will bond with you better and in return make it easier to train..and when it is old enough to get out in the field hunting you will have one good dog instead of two half decent one's..
  23. I have it here in my freezer with the intention of getting it stuffed..but the trap's where in for 3day's so i don't know if it will of started to decay with this warm spell we have had..i will have to wait and see and hope it can be preserved..
