    People might disagree with me and we all have are own ways of doing things but I think working a ferret in this day and age with no locator and collar is just stupid...seen plenty times people say my ferret never kills and stays and then all of a sudden they do and end up leaving a ferret which buts them in unnecessary danger.... Edited to say ground looks very familiar

    Been out with the nets for a couple hour..whent back to a spot that me and a mate have permison on..was a nice day slight breeze bit sunshine and some real nice ground to work..set up the nets and sliped the ferts in...couple minits and 1 bolted but gt under the net (due to my mates netting skills)lol then another one bolted got under the net again but then turned back from a open field back in to the net!!! Lol was lucky get that one lol..so we moved further up the hedge line but no bolters ended up having two nightmare digs..tried another set with the purse nets wich acounted for a nice bolt

    I think with it been a domance think hen could maybe taking the role of a cock so there for started crowing adding a cock could stop it but I think it could also cause problems between a dominant hen and roo..... However I'm new to fowl so there's a good chance I'm wrong.....just adding my opinion

    are you meshing the sides uk ? I used lengths of pallet wood on 3 sides with 3 inch gaps and a solid roof with a mesh front with a door in..also seen people use that green stuff what you see on building sites to cover the sides(over the wood) to stop the wind and rain as it stops a high percentage of the wind and rain and can early be removed through the warmer months...

    I'm a compleat dumb whit when it comes to fowl as I am only just learning and am new to it does that mean you have no time for newbies.....as were all newbies at one time lol

    I made some similar to this using old pallet wood .was cheap to make but in no way was it a cheap pen it was safe sturdy and easy to move and replace..

    If there just for you mate then chose what you like....at the end of the day it's you who feeds them and cleans them mate and if they make u happy that's all what maters.......I've got a hen her whats the ugliest little fecker you'll ever see......but I like her and my son likes her so that's all that maters for me......however I wouldn't breed off her for sell the chicks..as I no she's not a gd enought standard to breed from......atb in what you decide to get bx1

    We'll I won't say it gave me a tear in my eye or a lump in my throat ...... I cried like a baby.....and I'm not ashamed to admit it... My partner works with people who have similar disabilities....me and my partner get attached to the people she works with and also there family's.....I admire there strength to carry on we complain about having a bad day when are car don't start or we have a power cut or the shop doesn't have in are usually brand of cigarettes .....but when I see a man of 28 who has his whole life infrint of him who is paralysed from the neck down in a accident ..

    not us humans causing bad weather bull one volcano gives of more c02 than we ever will......most bad weather is caused by us......global warming.....scientific fact... Think china I'd most at fault lol......whatch a documentary the other week and it was showing all the poloution caused by man and it showed a clip of china and the city was a covers by a thick acrid cloud of pollution...
