  2. It's fifty fifty mate it will or won't , if your serious about ferreting now summers almost here your best getting kits from tryed and tested stock ; )
  3. Ugly to , but who could turn them down they've bolted 15 rabbits a piece probably by accident : /
  4. Unbelievable if you'd of asked advice prior you would of got the right advice what are you going to do with seventy odd kits ?????? Well I'm sure you will learn from your mistake , just feel for all those kits ,
  5. Good stuff it's a long old isolation period though, so it's good to let them out for a good run round the garden , mesh biting will increase so plenty of attention even if they do stink of stale pish : )

  8. With rayovac you probs only need to put them in in September I change about Xmas anyway but they last for an age ,

You could use terriers and a smoker, turn out your compost heap they may well be there , general tidying will disturb the critters chances are they've been over wintering somewhere , if your neighbouring plots are unkempt have a word lying wood and bricks are a favourite, set traps but rats are wise unlike mice , terriers and smoker : ) , have a look on you tube if you haven't seen it before ,
  10. You sure it's not rats eating your crops ???? It will look very similar to rabbit damage warm composts are a winter haven for rats iether way I could help : ) where there's holes there's goles,

No fair enough I fecked up hands up that's why I'm asking,I'm keeping the new hob as he is a good worker and a pleasure to handle which my kids like as it's hands on when they stay with me and he's in a large 2 tier hutch with plenty of room. Thanks Jaime I'll just give him a bit more time when handling and put his Jill back in when she's out of season? Wether she's in or out of season he will still try it on and probs end up in the brown slide lol
  12. Just give him a run round the garden everyday , he will still mate a spayed Jill and damage her . Best keeping him on his own : )

  14. We"d better pm digger mad he might be missing a hob ; ) , I would say escaped that chap could be wrong , I bet they don't take long to settle if they escape ive seen a Jill that was an escape artist and made short work of guinea pigs and rabbits , much to the local children's sadness
  15. I would give em a break for a month or two , keep whole rabbits in your freezer then when you go in the summer take a nice picknick and a load of frozen rabbits and chill out then end of day tanah a load of rabbits ; )

Well that was that a week or so ago and I wasnt sad been a great season this year seen some good days out , then had a call from a garden I'd lost the number for : ) so one final blast Saturday give the dog ago and bag a few for the freezer sods law going to be about 14 degrees last time I did this garden was 24 degrees lol but hay ho ,
