    many times when I try to read this forum and can't understand the written texts feel I should go back to the language school - anyway it is never a bad idea - but when the other comments are nothing more about but asking explanation, so it is a little bit calming for me. It seems this is perfectly the mentioned situation.

    What's the problem with breaking through in the side? I like to dig to the side, cause the noise don't make the enemy escape (I'm talking about badger, cause the fox has really low chance to push the dog away), and I have more space at the end for finish the job.

    About a year ago started to use the bar, but before it our Deben location system was enough for us. When we found the dog under us, just put the box to the ground, give them more 5 minutes, and if they were still there, we started to dig them out. A year ago we experienced the mentioned situation when the box displayed 0,3 everywhere, and then the bar was very very useful for us. The best thing is to put both of them to the backpack.

    We have been using it for 3 yrs, I ordered them to many mates who also use them with pleasure. As good as any others, quick, easy to use. There is only one problem - cannot locating under the electric fence.

    pbrokes please correct me if i'm wrong but some days ago we were talking about with my mates what doe's the 'well tested' or as you said 'tested to the max' means? In former post many of you said it means the dog must be over on at least 3 hard worked seasons. It is a measurable expectation. But what does the 'season' means for you and for me? You can dig foxes, and that season takes some months long for you and for your dogs. For me the whole year is season. We can dig foxes from the begin of Jan till the end of March.     First of all I'm sorry for your lost mate. Sometimes I feel the same when my dog collects some bad punishments not only if lost. We were lucky enough till now and haven't lost any of ours, but we keep a male who has lost his balls in action, and a female who lost her face, and in both case I felt the same, but after some weeks I was better, and went out for dig again, so the time will recover your soul.
