  11. the run is the best bit if you ask me but a dog that would never catch for what ever reason.....now thats a different thing well i think mate if the dog is not trying to pick the rabbit up then its not actually trying . . . if you know what i mean

  16. nearly getting eaten by a pack of wolves was probley the most scarey thing thats ever happened at night to me . . . .another time my mates deerhoundxsaluki broke his finger and the bone went through the skin the most anoying thing was when we travveled miles out to some good land and my lamp blew also walked into plenty of electric fences and once whilerunning overto my dog and his quarry fell over apiece of barbed wire about shin hieght.

I'm not saying the humble rabbit will die out totally or anything but if you have a place that has a consistent level of yearly hunting, then the population is dramaticly reduced but the same hunting pressures (and successes) are applied, surely the number of potential breeding animals will be a lot lower than previous years, and so the population will not be able re-establish itself at the same levels and so they cannot 'be back as usual next year'.   24. as above with rabbits they must bring them back to hand alive\dead it dont really matter to me aslong aslong as they catch and rietrive it.
