  2. let him eat it .....hes a young dog and will grow out of it,,,,,it a natural instinct.....i had one that just ate the bunnies ears ,,,,,like i say he will grow out of it as he matures .....it deffo not unusall...it got nothing to do with him being hungry...and same for the jumping it will come...not all dogs are good natural jumpers ..steady away mate,,,,dont exspect miricals from a 9 month old pup......and defernitly dont feed him before you go out ,,,,,that will cause you some probs.....

    now thats a fooker...i got some of my old grandfather who died last year i got some 18 year olds 10 year olds ..speical reserves ...12 year olds.....and hes had them for quiet a few years.......in fact hes had some of them for over ten years so some of them will be around thirty years old......i may as well drink and enjoy them then..... some are worth 70 notes or so it say on the net.....but i thought they may be worth more because he had them for a few years .....oh well .....bottoms.up////

    may be a silly question,,,,,but i was wondering does whiskey carry on maturing in the bottle ....or is it just when its in the keg.....e.g if i had a 12 year old malt in the bottle but had it for 10 years .....would it get btter with age in the bottle....
  7. ive got all the breeding wrote down.....and pics of sire dam ect......ive fooked my photo bucket account up so struggling to sort pics .....but i will sort it for you .....there line bred of the top of me head they have foxy bred in them three times and charlie twice........sire is a dog called sam owned by a lad in duram.....its been running real well .......had a few injuries this season,though ....sam is indie x buddy.....the dam is out of nuttals jack....x roxy ......jack is caufields joe x foxy......and roxy is charlie x foxy,,,,,i think ive got it right ...but i will sort it all for you
  8. im from sunny chorley in lancashire, the bitch would be about9 or 10 ish i would think at a guess i know there are dogs out of her as there are a couple of dogs about off her down warrington way so my mate tells me,anyway what dogs have you got,ive not had running dogs for years but like i said will be getting a couple of pups at the end of the year if everything goes ok.im looking forward to it. i`v e got two saluki \ greyhonds, 7mths. old, and 20 mths. old,(he`s at my mates at the moment for a while) got bullmastiff bitch too! only got back into lurchers last year too. last ones i had w

  10. the dales holds plenty of rabbits if yer no where to look ......and yes malham holds plenty.. but the farmers are on the ball at this time of year with lambing and rightly so......you will get heat up the dales at this time of year ...the farmers are up late and up early with the lambing season in full swing.....yer cant blame em either at this time of year.,...its the lively hood..... ..

  13. yep a whippet will catch the odd hare ...most lads i know run types saluki x types......i think a whippet would do well on the hares local to me because it early pace you need most of the time or there gone....into cover rushes ect ect....i think if you got one with a good nose it would do well ....alot of folk seem to think hare coursing is all about point and slip...now the big open land like the fens ect ect will take some beating for hare coursing but i will tell you hearing the breaking of rushes and your dog bursting out of them rushes in hot pursuit of hare also takes some beating...
  14. well if it had been my choice it would have been a saluki x pup/....not a bloody whippet . but its lg,s choice not mine ..but in all fairness hes a cracking pup..very strong ..good heeeeeeed on him too,,,,,,it dont really matter about how much summat costs lads if you want a dog no matter what breed money dont really come into it.....if yer skint then yer save up for whatever you want,.....

  18. now iam not having a go because i know fook all about hunting wolves ....i do know that in the early 1900.s they used to fight domestic dog with wolves with some sucsess......maybe not a 175 lb wolf but with an average wolf .....which most are under 85lb....thick coats for sub zero conditions,......makes eM look VERY BIG......
