    first of all you need a sqatter... a rabbit thats sits tight ..give your young dog the best chance possible.. so idealy it needs to be a rough windy night so you can get as close as possible to the bunny...keep you beam on the rabbit at all times and talk quitely to dog when your approaching the bunny....we all have diffrent words to get our dogs taking notice .......the rabbit will jump with out doubt your dog will see it ....try and get a bunny in the middle of a field ..again to give your dog the best possible chance of a catch.......but before you even take a dog on the lamp it should be

    the blondie x grey dog ..is two years old now...i was out with a sanky about a month ago on the whities ..he had the the dog with him then....big strong dog runs well too......must be 28 inch,,,blondie ran her last forley in 2004 and was runner up at 6 1/2 years old so she will nearly be twelve years old.......one hell of a bitch in her time.... ....and yes snoopdog was top chalker,.of the day,.,,,

    cheers millet ....its a female iam lead to beleive they fly around 2 1/2 pound when fully grown....so its quite some bird.....i well get some pics at the weekend.... ....and if any body has any pics of sakas or gyr,s or the both crossed i would be interested to see them...........

    just a quick as iam as green as grass about falconry... ..could some one explain the terms broadwings longwings...ect ect....my mate just got a gyr x saker....and iam gunna watch him and learn....he picked it up monday,,,,and havent seen it yet....but what cat does it come under...is it a longwing...lolol....be gentle with me....or ill bite yer fooking head off.... and could somebody please tell me abit about gyr x sakers.....what they hunt best,,,or should i say what are the good at....as you can see i no nothing ........thank you for any help....and info.....cheers...

    i run to see the course ..not to see a hare tangled in a net.....if the hare gets away then its better then the dog on the day .....thats what hunting is about to me....not netting them or shooting them ....any tit can do that.....

    fooking gate net.this sites getting worse by the day,,,.. ..it depends on the type of fields you hunt ie size ...if there large fields ie crop fields you get them sat out in there seats....small scrapes where there can get out of the wind weather .ect ect and are hidden from preditors view....small fields they tend to sit on the edges in the rough,,,grass or in woods....iam not saying they wont be on the edges in the thicker cover on large land ..iam just giving you a few ideas where to look,....if iam hunting hares local....they tend to sit in the juncas rush.....then its handy to have a dog
