    well said baldie spot on ....even tho i did have a pet crow when i was a youngster does it really matter if sombody wants to save an injured bird no matter what sort it is i think if you are a hunter you have to respect what you hunt and what you dont hunt ..wildlife is a wonderful thing and i reackon most of us who hunt was brought up to save somthing in distress ....well done moll keep it up perhaps some of you folks should try sitting and watching for a while instead of pointing a gun a it .. i know for a fact i can go out with my dogs and sit somwhere quite and watch wildlife and

    this my last say on the subject its getting boring now why dont those who dont belive a well educatered man like myself try looking it up for themselves .....its not hard to find the stats on both hares good look and i hope you arnt to dissapointed with the result they arnt tp much slower ....

    they will proberly have a good home for a dog i might be able to sell them one off lb.s pedigree lurchers that needs a home you now which one i meen the one that won its class at crufts :whistle: iam sure the money would help feed lb.s dogs for a while

    i dont use traps when we go river fishing for brownies :whistle: we build a rock pool just out of the fast water around a foot deep we chuck a couple of road kill bunnies in it and then we go fishing .......when we have finnised fishing we check the pools ...forgot to add in the bottom of the pool place an old landing net put the bunnies on top so you just lift the net out and pick your crays out if we build a couple of pools we average around 60 crays somtimes a few more somtimes less .....then half of them might be small but always catch enough to feed a few folk on the barby if we set pr

    iam not saying the red hare is a easy quarry to course but the facts are this the brown hare is bigger and stronger the are faster the brown hare can run up to 70kmh the red hare 60kmh that is a fact the only thing bigger on a red hare / blue hare and they are the same animal is they have bigger feet ,... so on boggy land or snow they will be faster .....

    we have had this debate before luke . the brown hare(lepus europaeus) is far quicker than the red hare (lepus timidus hibernicus) whish is a sub species of the mountain hare which are smaller and slower .......its as simple as that ,,...but the irish will say different The Irish hare, ( and im not irish ) is the same size at times, not allways, as the Brown The Irish hare, can outpase threw rough ground, the brown hare and piss all over the blue hare.     no your not to early theres hundreds of em where i go ...what bait you useing moley???? you should be getting them at this time of year its been so bloody mild they have been about nearly all year .....
