i agree totally millet you dont now what you are shooting if its weak old a fit hare . .but with a dog only the strong will live another day .. ......thus keeping a healthy population .....theres plenty of hares round me and as far as i now not shot in big numbers .... :thumbs-up: back to the question of course there should be a closed season on hares ...

if you want him to use his eyes more take him out on the lamp and say a certain word evey time he spots one or you spot on the beam so when you are out in the day time you can say that certain word and he will look up to see what you have seen iam not saying slip him when on the lamp but if there looks like theres an easy rabbit give him go ................................................................................ ................................................................................ .......come you arseholes whos going to tell me that the dogs to young have a moan....

hey digzy thet arnt just normal cats they go hunting with the dogs .. she works em they catch rabbits when shes out and retrives them bac to hand ....show him a pic moll off you going hunting with your pack :thumbs-up:
