Well that is strange. I've heard the odd lad say he's caught mink in them, but probably caught one by accident, and believes they are therefore good enough for mink?. Also saw a video from a member on here of a fox in one, that was set for rabbits. It was quickly dispatched, before it broke the cable. Think there is definite proof that both are/has been present in the UK. Don't know if there is evidence of them breeding in the wild mind. Be nice to see some evidence of that.

I've not seen one caught by any of the great trappers on here?. There was a Raccoon Dog put up here alright, but that's not a raccoon. Totally different animal. There certainly is a few in the UK plus here in Ireland. 5000! Where in the hell did they get that figure? Must be lots of bins being raided nightly all over the UK. I think there are a few specimens caught on camera, but not a regular thing. They ain't shy either. Seem to like visiting gardens, bins, chicken coops. Few killed on the roads over here. Wouldn't think there were thousands of them mind.

What's the point. Unless no one questions anything that's stuck up here, and just pretend it's whatever they claim it to be. On Facebook, these groups just ban anyone who questions anything, that's alleged to be a big cat. Thats all well and dandy, but it sort of leaves you in a bubble where common sense is nowhere to be found.

Yes of course. Some on here think we are sticking up these newspaper reports, just to take the piss. Reality is, they are the only CURRENT thing we've got on the subject. If we didn't stick them up here, we'd have little to nothing to discuss.
