  1. am currently using a hawk airmax scope 3-9 x 50 ir. but when im focusing on my target, i sometimes find it difficult to get the cross hairs in focus at the same time. so my question is, is this caused by an error on my behalf, or is it just the scope?? also id like to know which sort of scope everyone is using, and why?? because im thinking of upgrading my scope. but not really sure sure what to go for. i use it for genral all purpose pest control. from rabbits to pigeons rats. etc etc. i dont have a massive amount of money available, but if you could give me some ideas of some good but affo
  2. left the camera at home today, but got a couple of pics [bANNED TEXT] i got home. will get my daughter to upload them tomorrow guys. they are not too good as i had to take them in the dark lol
  3. went out again this morn to try the owl decoy, and the magpie decoys. on arrival at the permission, the manager pointed a squirrel out. its was sat on a big bough in a tree 35 mtrs away. i was just getting togged up and ready to go, but kept my eye on it just in case it shifted position. anyway after getting suited and booted and rifle out of the slip the silly bugger was still there. sat side on to me offering the perfect shot. i leaned up against the trunk of a tree, got steady, lined the cross hairs up, and down it came. perfect start. i carried on through the gates around the building,
  4. nice one pal. i went out today, i managed 2 woodies and a squirrel.
  5. i tend to use the superfields or accupel.

  7. whether the fight was set up or not, i wouldnt want to meet that traveler down a dark alley way. looked like he could bang a bit, and probabley hold his own against most people.

  11. well i went out this morning, full of hope and coffee. i took my new owl decoy, and 2 magpies. first of all i thought id better go see if i could bag a bunny to open up, and place the magpies round if the owl wasnt doing the buisness. i got to the farm just as the sun was coming up. had a quick look around, i saw 2 rabbits on the railway banking, but they also saw me and scarpered. i set off to the intended permission that is being plagued by crows and squirrels. on arriving, and entering the permission i turned the corner to see 4 0r 5 squirrels tearing through the branches, they didnt

  14. cheers palwill have a look at the link now. ive also called up another permission owner, that is only a couple of hundred yrds down the road, so im also gonna try and get myself a rabbit, and open it up and see if that helps

  16. well i bought an eagle owl, £17 and 2 plastic magpies. gonna build a little hide tomoz morn and put them out. will let you all know how i get on.
  17. also would you reccomend the little owl or the larger eagle owl? would you place them on the ground or try and place them higher up??

  19. how effective are the plastic owl decoys for corvids? ive never used one but thinking of giving one a try. thanks in advance
  20. which is the best value for money collar and box to go for.??? obviously reliability is a must. so not nessaserily the cheepest, but reliable, robust and able to do the intended job.
