  2. Good post, but personally I,ve always used my dogs for lamp and day time (ferreting,bushing etc.) and never had a problem. Free rein in the day time, instant return when lamp goes out, thas what I expect and all the dogs I,ve ever trained have responded easily. ive got two dogs and they both do day and night and dont have a problem and i work both lose
  3. I'm bringing her on nice and steady, she's retreiving ,but she mouths the rabbits a bit hard at the moment (still a pup). 100% with ferrets. These crosses are faster than they look. They need sensible handling otherwise they can think that they're the boss I've never physically disiplined her. Just firm but fair. I'm no expert, but I'd say these dogs are certainly not for the beginer. im a beginer and have a gsd x and hes spot on you can see him on game fairs and events shugborough hall res champ pup

  9. i have to go to work and i miss walking the dogs but now its dark nights the wife takes them out in the day all 5 of them and i go out at about 830 and have a couple of hours with my pup but not every night

  12. i have but hes realy matted and tangled when we had horses we used anti tangle spray i wonder if that would work
  13. right how do i get the tangles out of the deerhound coat ive just bathed him and he is all tangled wats the best way to detangle him all sarcastic comments welcolm but this is a serious topic

We use a Hilti breaker drill brilliant bit of kit but to be honest was thinking of getting a cheap 24v sds but the more i think about it i'm thinking just save the extra cash and get a tidy one lol i.e Hilti or Milwaukee? No one use the cheap b&q ones? ive had my dewalt now for 6 years and its just packing up its the 24 volt cordless and i have to say its been the best one ive had and ive had a few being a carpenter
