  3. i agree we went to kelmarsh and was not happy at all i like my shows it gets my dogs out while season is out a dog won help for heros and then went in the puppy class and never won now [bANNED TEXT] a dog beats all those dogs and then doesent win his class i think that the judges dont no wat there doin i no one dog has won or been placed and got reserve every time out and never got a tap wat a farse
  4. Good point. I can't understand someone buying a lurcher just to show & not working it but what about owners of rescued lurchers who are generous enough to give the dog a home? Those dogs might have been great workers but retired injured. Also, I think it's good for the dogs if they get taken out for the day and spend the whole day with their owner off season. Maybe it encourages some owners to take better care of the dog through the off season. I think shows are good for what they were originally intended - an end of season meeting place for owners of working dogs to spot potential stu
  5. ive put a lot of time into my dog and im realy proud of him in the field and out and when you walk away with reserve champ it makes it all worth while
  6. went to kelmarsh today and there were a few debating the rules of the simulated courseing so could some one please explane the rules it doesnt bother me i enter for fun but as you know some do take it sereous cheers malc
  7. i totaly agree i show my dog and work him and do well with him and its nice to beat the big time showdogs

  12. i started my dog at 3 and a half months and caught its first rabbit at 4months hes 10 months now doesnt yap hes jumping dayworking with the jrts and other dogs great on the lamp recall is fantastic never sliped worked lose and he did his first stright race the other week

  17. hes only 24 1/4 but he is so brave and strong gives you 100 and 10 persent when working id have this breed again its a good strong breed
