    This thread should be deleted as it's sexist and therefore offensive. IMO chicks are fine working in the field, as long as no creepy crawlies land on them and they don't split nails or get their hair wet everything's fine. Plus, if it's jam rag week they are more effective at dispatching game than us blokes, they just rip the heads off their prey, or give it so much grief that the prey actually puts itself out of its misery

    Don't you think you're being a bit anal about wording in the rules??...........IMO the mods should use common sense and if someone is blatantly peddling they should be booted off the site, even if they do put the odd other post on aswell.....simple.

    yeah they are susceptible to food poisoning. Years ago my cousin had a pack of sausages in the fridge that had gone out of date so he cooked them and gave them to his ferrets.....obviously hadn't cooked them properly as every single one of them died! nightmare! Glad yours is OK now though!

    ah right. I know there's been a few threads asking what colours best etc. and as far as rabbiting goes I don't think it makes any difference......but how do you find the tempraments vary between them? or do you find there's no difference? Of all the ferrets I've ever had I've only ever had three albinos and all the rest have been polecat coloured.....all three of my albinos ones have been less laid back than the polecat coloured ones, not necessarily aggressive (although my current albino jill is bordering on it), but not quite as soft with people and not quite as tolerant with other ferret

    Well if it's too hard to police it shouldn't be there in the first place. FTB YIP DEFO Why should they police it? So the place doesnt become the breeding ground for arsewipes who give us all a bad name that it has in recent times. Lining the pockets of flash in the pan hunters who will be onto the next thing in a month or so. I realise that you are female and the mention of puppies gets you all light headed, but pull your head out your arse. And as the title 'moderator' suggests they are there to moderate.     I've driven right through France twice. Although apparently they do have restrictions on what you can and can't do with dogs, the countryside is vast.....and I mean proper vast! you can drive for hours without seeing anyone, so I don't really know how they'd control it. Saw quite a few wildboar, I think they're quite common. When driving back I pulled up to have a slash, walked to the side of the road and one bolted from a bush right next to me.....no.1 stop very nearly progressed to a no.2 stop in the blink of an eye!     The people that annoy me are the ones that seem to be buying and selling adult dogs all the time, do they just get bored or what? Surely you get the best out of a dog once you have a decent bond with it, how you get a bond when you're swapping dogs every five minutes is beyond me, it's probably why dogs never do the business for these people! You see some of them bragging about how they've had 18 lurchers etc......then you look at their age and they're about 25, pathetic!
