  1. If your talking about knocking foxs out !!! We wouldn't get that many. Just the odd one as I say I mostly use them for earthwork. How often do you knock one out ??? Pmsl
  2. Mostly earthwork, i would run the odd one threw a bit of cover to knock out a fox.
  3. Use photobucket it downsizes them for you then you can load them up.. Or since you've an iPhone email to yourself a choice the size you want them to be then go onto your Pc/laptop and save the emailed imagesonto the computer and they'll upload no probs. Atb
  4. Your the gobshite since you can't read properly. Just read what I wrote again. I wasn't just speaking about a wheaten in particular... I was talking about all big dogs down the years from that area. Oh and by the way it was brenner that brought that topic back up again, NOT ME. So Bye bye : )))
  5. Yeah well since I know nothing I'll say no more just to keep you happy. If you read the thread i started correctly, I stated I was too young to know about certain lines back in the day, but I knew enough to prove men twice maybe 3 times the age of me now wrong!!!!! Men that were into it and thought they knew it all. Plus north Armagh region kept producing the highest quality off just for u ( draw/strong/heavy/big) dogs all down the years to date. So use what words you want too. I know by looking and watching a dog work..... not reading a thread on my iPhone like you do on here. How your imagin
  6. Ive dug to loads off hard terriers over the years though as Liam said maybe they were too hard for there own good. I've also dug to alot of game terriers. They were far too game for there own good, more so than a hard dog. As I said at the beginning """same shit different day"""...!!!!!
  7. Not my opinion, well documented. Thats all you have to say !!! I dont read shite in books i know from experience. I work my terriers and have been in the game long enough to know what Liam was saying so you don't need to spell anything out for me. I've seen plenty of hard terriers that mix alot over the years and seen first hand and kept, may I add strong/big dogs. So don't try and be the big boy that knows nothing but likes to type on a keyboard. By the way I said Liams post was either badly worded or bollocks and I did state that I had read it over a few times. So don't go putting posts up s
  8. Nice looking dog there sp.w. Good luck with him he's built for the job. Aye lumphammer get a few pics up mate.!!
  9. Jesus. Some people would need to loosen there bra straps. Fk me. Brenner if you havnt got an opinion on it because you don't knowing about it then why did you give me your opinion ???? See that makes as much sense as saying a hard dog is too game for his own good (which Liam stated by the way) but a game dog is a different kettle of fish he'll fight to the death. Sure if the game dogs even gamer than the hard dog would the same not apply to it also, of not even more ??? That's the point I was trying to make. Seems now on here you can't even ask a question without unknowingly bruising some peop
  10. Save your breath. You'll need it for your inflatable girlfriend later on. Lol
  11. Here we go again. Thats a random one. Lol
  12. Would a game dog not be too game in the short term then Liam ? I read your post over a few times. Hard dog mixes, takes punishment too much for its own good in the long term.. Game dog would fight any foe even loose its front legs in the proceeds, fight to the death. that's a load of bollocks or just badly worded on your behalf ?? Wtf. Either way both types are too game/hard for there own good. Same shit different day. Lol
  13. Spot on stop end. These are the type of threads lads should be posting on here... Nice terrier, Good do lad, well done !!!
  14. Trials in my opinion only suited heavy dogs. !! I seen alot of decent terriers being dug in the field to provide game for the trials. The same dogs never qualified for a certificate on the day because there style didn't suit the tight rules layed out, like going to grips for too long. More fox dogs got Certs, though if you were depending on them same dogs to provide you with the quarry for a trial you'd be waiting for a long time.. Just my opinion
  15. dont think you'll be out with me cause my lurchers are with me every time im out hunting mudd dog i never said a fox was a test of a lurcher in a hole, if they could not work a hole or run them night and day they be gone , also i can lamp rabbit with my lurchers and the bitch will bring back live to hand , i don't need a rabbit dog a wheaten or bull , and a lurcher for running them , i have it all in one dog why because i work it that way i know what i have in my yard thats all i need to know or prove to anyone each to there own , sounder I understand
  16. Personally if I went for a hunt with a man that said his lurcher was killing foxs and we dug one and he requested to let his lurcher draw it out ! He'd be very disappointed because that wouldn't be happening. I'd be testing his dog to see if it's as good as he says and it certainly wouldn't be by drawing it. They're called running dogs for a reason.
  17. Yeah, I said why keep lurchers if your gonna use them to draw foxs ? when it's clear they are built for speed to course and catch fox. A staff or a wheaten would suit you better. Then you started the lamping saga when it's clear the topic doesnt involve lamping.
