Personally I think they're a load of bollocks. Had one before and my mate had one also and they kept shorting out and blowing fuses etc. Never the same again after being repaired. Waste of money
I wouldn't have the faintest notion lad. I only fish for rainbow and brown in the summer with the young fella, just coarse, I'm well into my pike fishing in the winter months, that's it. As I said I've never caught a sea trout. Atb
Looks a good job there, nice work. I think I'd rather have the welded version myself though. I think it would be far more Robust and would suit the digging I do beter..atb
Thanks for the pics mate. Much appreciated. So you reckon if the threads are too big after digging I might not get them off again ?? I'd say I'll be using 1"1/4 bar so whatever thread will fit in that would it be ok ??? I'll have a go at it and show you the results, fingers crossed eh. Lol cheers MUDD
Thanks for the reply mate. Yes I get the just of it now. I could get one of them made very easily, I was just wondering about the handle placement as if it was a b stard to get correct it would do my head in lol. But as you say a washer or just a few handy adjustments would sort that out. Think I'll get one made when I get the chance. Thanks for your help..still some decent people about. Lol...atb......MUDD
Funny this topic was brought up as I was just talking the other day about the same thing. I only ever seen 1 fella with one [bANNED TEXT] though I'd say they be a handy bit of kit. Just one thing, would you have to mess about with the screw to get the handle at least nearly straight ?? Or can you adjust the bolt up to it in such a way that everytime you screw it on the handles straight, if you get me...
Was out with a few lads for a lamp one time seen the blue flashers on the road near the van. Went to investigate. Everything ok just left our names and addressses and went on. 5 mins later blue flashers again. Up to van with a few rabbits and they checked our names out. Lifted my mate for outstanding warrents. Ha ha. We wnt on about our business while he lay in a cell for the night in his wellies pmsl
I have two golf courses close to home I lamped them regularly when I was younger just because of the sheer amount off rabbits on them. Yes they can be dangerous and the bunnies are alot faster. You could also break a dogs heart easy running them on courses constantly.
