  1. Thanks for the comments lads !!! I kept the two black and tans my mate has a broken coated black dog and my other mate has a nice red dog all from the same litter, I hope they'll make the grade for us.
  2. It's a bollocks on a phone I've tried on my iPhone too far easier on a Pc or laptop mate. Go to photobucket and it resizes the photos for you and just bang the resized ones up. Job done.
  3. Is it pissing in it's kennel/box or just in the pen ?
  4. Yeah that's exactly what we do, it's works well in the right conditions.
  5. pups having a go at the tail. there eight months now.
  6. i had the day booked off work so went for a quick dander on my own this morning, just close to home to see if anything was about, brought my old dog with me. first stop collared the dog up and let him go. i walked to a three holer i had in my head for a while, that i found last year when i dug a brace. so i hadnt been back since and i was hopeful i could get some action. i seen the dog make his way up the double ditch and when i got up he was already in and on. ran back the short trip and grabbed the tools and dug him out, easy we hunt 0.7. got him sorted and rang my mate down the road and he
  7. So the dog is working well slack, sitting way off stuff. 3foot !!! Eh, if you get a mark on the dog and start to dig and the dogs 3 foot off game and when he hears you he pushes up to it, right will, then there's no point in digging away were u are. sure the dogs not there no more. £700 feck me man, I've done better in.
  8. Bring the dog to a good tester of a place. That way you'll know if it's worth a batt, if you get a result. Oh and let it work away for at least an hour before you go to him/her..just incase it " bo peeps " at you.
  9. I'm not very keen on the peroxide old timer. Used it years ago, yes I know it will kill any bacteria, germs etc there is, but I found that it left the wound looking alot reder and raw, plus I found it would easily burn the hair of a dog also even after diluted. Just my opinion though. Atb
  10. If the wounds not on the inner mouth region spray should be ok, keep it clean and a course of antibiotics would be better than spray though. I use the spray more for cuts on lurcher or hounds if they get cut on barb wire etc.
  11. Eh, it means your dad needs to go see a doctor not u to go and getpurple spray from a pet supplies and spray it on his chin !!!! Pmsl Edited to say You can get cut and heal spray, it's clear does the same job and it's doesn't draw attention to wounds the way a coloured spray would.
  12. Yeah I understand what your saying. It's better to be able to treat your own animals for most things that you can, within reason that is. Saves money bigtime as you say on vet bills. I thought that was the kit u brought hunting !!!! Was wondering if you tied the dogs to the roof rack !!! Lol. Atb.
  13. Not as many in the countryside as there used to be. I believe this is because off the vast increase in people running the length and breadth of the country with high powered rifles and lamps. Definitely an increase in urban foxs though IMO.
  14. Jesus, on the large side is right lol
  15. Urban foxs are on the increase, without a doubt IMO. Particularly were I'm from, far from a built up city though. Lol, but I've noticed this last few years foxs must be getting there food source tight in close to were I live. Most weekends when we go digging we drive 20+ miles away into the country and we still get the dogs worked, sometimes we get the odd day that doesn't go to plan and the sweat is on to get a dig. I've took the dogs out for a dander across the road from my estate and have dug foxs unexpected.
  16. Good luck mate, hope you get sorted.
  17. Leave them at home, plenty of time to get them dug over.
