    yeah your right mate. im gonna leave it till the weather picks up as well. booked today off work, was at a decent lake fishing and all for 9 bells this morn. 3 deadbait rods out and my friend had 2 out. pulled the plug at half 3, not a nibble. ah well you cant win them all eh!

    ive got lakes and patts if you get the right 1s, both can be equally as good as the other. i personnally would tend to favour the lakies. just my opinion though.

    im sure you's will all agree, that u can never be too carefull when it comes to making sure that ur terriers are collared up correctly. im am not taking sides, as always there is two sides to every story... i remember one particular morning last season when i was out with a good friend of mine. he was running a young bitch on, we went to a big place that we knew we would be cert for a hunt. i chained my working lakeland dog to a fence while we ran the bitch pup. the bitch pup ran the area and never got 'on' i knew otherwise. my mate leaded his bitch up and threw me the locator collar. i was co

    yeah mate i passed a few lakes yesterday morn that were totally froze over. i couldnt believe it when i seen that this one was fishable.

    yeah it has deep holes in it mate in around 10ft normally with a medium cast of a float in places. there was 2 holes yesterday were that pic was taken and it was around 22ft deep. that lake holds some decent pike, biggest this season so far 29.5 lbs.

    went out fishing yesterday morning. it was freezing half of the lake had froze so we fished the opposite end than usual. after 10 minutes in the water my mate got a run, 9lber. he hadnt put it back into the water a minute until my rod went, 4.5lb. sat the rest of the day without anymore action. still, a few jacks or better than nothing. going to leave it for a few weeks until the temp rises a bit, hopefully the big fish will be on the feed next time. heres a few pics.
