  5. caught my biggest on a mackerel tail, depends on what waters and how heavy they're fished. have had plenty of 20+ on eels as well.

  16. no mate, all caught on dead bait apart from a 3 lber i caught on a surface lure (frog). i'll be trying the lures more often though, they were bigtime hitting it, must be the heat of the summer coming in. sending them nuts
  17. took the day off work yesterday. got up at 4.15am was on the road with my mate for 4.45am up to my favourite lake. set up and in the water for 6 bells, hoping to get the early feed. not a single run until 11 o clock. 4.5 lbs. then until 3 o clock they didnt stop feeding. i caught another fish at 6 lbs my mate caught two jacks under 3 lb weight so never bothered taking any pics. then i got a run on an eel and landed a 10.5 lber. my mate had a good double on after, that but it shook the hooks out in around 3 ft of water at the side of the bank. he was gutted. everything went quiet then so i took
