Iv had lurchers pritty much since the dawn of my time and never in the whole of my life have i hear of this ridiculous phrase "DOG PEDDLING" Il asume by most peoples posts & topics that this means to breed or buy and sell dogs ? But youl all have to excuse me if i sound a bit dim but what the hell as it got to do with anybody who breeds dog's for what ever reason or who buys and sells dogs for what ever reason ? Someone is going to have to try very hard to get me to understand the phrase dog peddling because at the moment it just seems to me like another excuse to have a go at any tom dick

Id leave the line breeding to the experts you have to have a very good knowledge of the lines you breeding when line breeding. Its not realy a subject for a novice breeder! Iv line bred terriers farther over daughter but im lead to belive son over mother is to close and brother over sister is to close. Half brother over half sister is ok aswell but like i said you have to have good knowledge of the lines.

Pup mate at least you know what you got. Theres nothing to bringing a pup on apart from getting it right with sheep, people on here will make it sound so complicated but this isnt the case at all. All you need to know right now is what your going to use it for when its older. If you just want a rabbiting dog beddy whippets are very popular, if you want an all rounder look at somthing that will make a decent size 23"+. Dont go getting out of your league by getting a bull x for your first dog like a lot of young lads do you might find it dosnt meet all your needs when its older im speaking from

Their not a bad size they get alot bigger up here. Iv had these boys that big that when you throw them over your back the front feet touch the ground

I get a lump in my throat when I have to despatch them in a trap.. They almost seem to look at you through sad eyes. Town foxes are often quite tame too so it makes it even harder. There's no shame in being compasionate mate....!!!!!! Well said.... phew, thank god for that lol thought it was just me. Yeh they are kind of cute but you just got to get on with the job. Well done anyway lads job's a good one !!!

Tell you somethig strange about me lol. When i see pictures like that fox in the trap it makes me wounder how myself or other people can kill them but when im out looking for them the thought dosnt even cross my mind its going to get killed and thats it! Its probably just got somthing to do with the fact that im an animal lover aswell as a hunter ??? Does anyone else think like that or am i on my own on this one ???

To be honest its a nice bit of kit im pritty imprest with it and i havnt killed with it yet but come sunday or one of the days next week i will have. Its realy well balanced & light, a proper little hunting rifle!!
