Bloody typical, the police get bored shitless up hear, i think they take every silly oppertunity to make bigger idiots out of them selves than they already are, i bet there not this bad in manchester & liverpool & london with AK's & Uzi's! The thing is not enough goes on round here apart from drug dealing & i think they like to get into the sweany mode and over react at lads out in the country side, it gives them practice to deal with what theyv been trained to deal with in the citys & towns. Just woundering are the barrels on the AA s400, s410 & s410 carbine the same size in circumference ? Will a muzzle break for the s410 fit the s410 carbine ? cheers migmog.

I had the webly vulcan when i was 18 im 40 this year, it was an awsome little rifle for the time for ratting and rabbiting, i loved it !!! Pitty it isnt in A1 condition, what a rifle that would be for a fiver its less then the tin of pellets you would buy for it . As for the lightning you might aswell have kept the old vulcan, at least theres a good excuse for it not being up to good standards. The lightning is pure shyt im sorry to say, you should have gone for Webly HW or AA BSA just arnt up to it these days, iv bought 5 BSA guns in less than 4 months all brand new and every single one had a

Its moved sean, its at the old gas works site down the old paper mills road of salthouse road. Its a good little range aswell & they have compatitions there and with other clubs .

Hello guys, a few months ago i got myself back into hunting with air rifles and after a lot of bad luck with springers i decided to go for the pcp's instead witch seems to have been a pritty good choice apart from the money side of it as iv spent well over a £1000 on rifles, mounts, scopes, slings and cleaning kits, charging bottle, tins and tins of pellets shooting gloves, face vails, rifle cases, paper targes, target holders, pellet catchers, gun lamps, moderators, phew sorry guys iv run out of breath give me a second to get my breath back ....................... ...........................

Hey Sean, Thanks for that. I didn't know offering the land owner the quarry was the done thing. What do you knock on his door at the end of each shoot? Doesn't that pi** him off???? Sorry, not my own permission before so i know NOTHING. Any other hunter-landowner etiquette i should be aware of? I had hate to land me some permission then piss the land owner off by seeming rude! just ask the landowner at the time of gaining permission if they require any rabbits etc.....some of mine dont want any but others take a few rabbits a week............i just leave them in a pre-arranged place

If at first you dont succed "poach poach poach" nah i see why your so frustreted. Like stealthy said try a bit harder once you have one farm the rest get to slowly know you. We have 2 major shooting clubs in this area & they have pritty much all the land available witch is just down to pure greed in imo !! But i still have quit alot off land to play with witch im realy greatfull for and the best part of it is that its full of badgers witch i bump into on most occasions and end up watching them for ages witch is a total privelage. Iv always used my hand you can do quit a few different pitches if you practice. Then theres the brown star method that work a treat but tends to sting like a bas*ard after a few nights !! :11:

Hi JD last Sunday i got a silencer for a S510 (12ft/ib) .Had to show the guy my Passport.atb. Catcher I bought a moderator from Blackpool air rifles ltd & had to show my ID aswell apparantly its the law now & you cant buy one without ID think i had to give my address aswell !

Iv heard the same thing has happend in ulverstone near tronic mate, a young lad and his grandad told me anorak's keep complaining about them shooting on there own land that has a public footpath through it and the police keep having to go and see them and have asked them not to shoot in there own field with the public footpath running through it. Work that out mate ! Personally i think the police are getting fed up with phone calls complaining about them shooting on their own land and they carnt stop the anoraks walking through it but think they have a valid point that an air gun may be causi
