  1. was thinking about the 410. obviously easily to come across and the cartridges. noise isnt a problem.
  2. Right lads.. Dragging a shotgun or the 410 around is getting tedious so im going to get a pistol of some sort. Was thinking of a 410 or a 22 short?? what is you preference??
  3. its a great time for the young terriers to get started and if am asked i will go out anytime am not botherd what size you have to respect the farmer wishes thats what alot of lads dont understand you get stick for killing cubs but when you have permission you have to take everything of the land he wants if not you will find yourself loseing your ground to someone else so well said mate wonder if the fox has the same idea... Hens not long sat tight on eggs.... Ewes spitting out young defenceless lambs... think i will go vegetarian until they are at a suitable age
  4. READ THE THREAD I WAS ALONE, SORRY IME NOT A JUGGLER, ILE TRY NEXT TIME IME BY MYSELF LOL, BUT HERES 1 OF THE SAME BANDIT DOG A FEW WEEKS EARLYER, recognise your face ALLI but cant think from where..
  5. had 7 in 3 days,5 were vixen and heavy in cub. everyone was dispatched as some have a service to do for keepers.. letting them run when on average a gamebird around here to shoot is £40 plus VAT and being spooted to let them run WILL result in the loss of permition. Its hard enough to obtain permition and all too easy to loose it and the trust from every keeper for counties as word spreads, especially bad ones!! given the choise,id let every fox run.
  6. no need to heat all in do is cut in thin strip, rub cracked pepper into it and chilli then simply hang it in a well ventilated room.. if dried proper,it will last weeks in a bag with the air pumped out.
  7. Scratched a few times, i look like a f'in self harmer lol, my wrists look like someone been at em with a chain saw. Earth ask GM about my fox in the net lol, i was getting it free of the net when i saw a load of green snot in it's eye, i usually (without thinking) clear the shit from there eye with one swipe of my thumb, but for somw reason this time i used the finger next to it which left my thumb dangling just nice for mr foxy, i never got no sympathy from GM he was pissing himself on the floor. When i looked at the fox, he had his mouth open with his tongue sticking out with my full finger
  8. ya the fooking doctor ask me wat happen i said a dog bit me i didnt seek medical attention, wish i did though, the mrs kept ripping the scabs off at every opportunity
  9. bitten twice... vixen locked on my finger ,keepers were wetting their undies,a month later, obviously more carefull dog locked onto my big toe .. been scratch a few times too edited to add,was face to face with a right sour vixen monday ,very close
  10. Hows tricks,been getting out?

  11. i for one let mine heal too long if anything so who is this aimed at.. i see nothing good on scared up terriers, neither do i choose to show mine at hunt shows although each to their own. many of my friends work their terriers to their full and show them. its not aimed at you no worries

  13. Absolutely. I'm all for testing dogs to their fullest, but the mark of a good terrierman should be to know when they have had enough before they have. They all have their limits, as do all animals. Why do people see the need to prove a dogs limit by making it chuck it? FTB seen a few what youngsters what should have made a 1/2 decent terrier throw the towel in through to seeing/doing too much too often.
  14. Different dog for different jobs.. those with the yappy type, hands on hearts will of at some point had a stubborn quarry that simply would not bolt nor been able to be held at a stopend, this is where the harder terrier comes into its own. also, breeding wise,i was told not to put a out and out yapper to another, again, the harder is needed in the cross.
  15. more like you got 'THREE' tickets = you,the wife and the daughter 'IF' you take any dogs , look out for the big ugly fella wearing a frock lads with a menagerie of different breed terriers
  16. same as that.. some of us have permition on commercial shoots,we have this to protect game, game and fox dont mix. i know,if i chose not to work the terriers all year round,i would be out!

  21. like i said, there has. Its not that the water would get ruined, as they are usually non fishing lakes, stocked syndicates, or ultimate secretive syndicate waters. And beleive me, these waters are manned 24/7.. I have seen some massive cats also which evade the bristtish records, and these where 15 yrs ago. Also been on two netting programs where pike have been scooped to over the record. And one of these waters was a day ticket! got any photos? surely some were taken without a land mark in the background. yeah, i have pictures of big pike. didnt say i was querying
