  1. Does anyone from here use the stuff for flea and ticks on their terriers? I cant find a website or supplier to buy it from.. PM if prefered.
  2. I wasn't why do you ask , did something Happen ? other than having plenty of work and success, was a good day.. lots spotted too
  3. Anyone from here out with them today??
  4. Is a little loud,Beck has had his head close to the loud end before, sure his eyes were a little too close together for a few minutes after
  5. Regarding the use of a captive bolt,NEVER AGAIN.. Had a mishap the once. They were fine IF you have a firm grip of the fox but useless if trying to dispatch when up the end of a tight tube as that bolt needs to reach the skull which is hard when all you can see is the muzzle and eyes unless opened up more.
  6. yes please!! What the f**k are you dispatching? Ze Germans? who gives a shyte, just dont fecking argue with the man!
  7. can be safe depending where the terrier is,the ground you are working etc.. come on then FTB,what do you use?? As i said earlier,it gets tedious carrying a shotgun aswell as the other kit as im sure you will agree, therefor i am getting a pistol. A half cross...(joke). I use an over and under 12 bore baikal, whilst no dog is in the hole. As i said earlier,it gets tedious carrying a shotgun aswell as the other kit as im sure you will agree, therefor i am getting a pistol.

  9. At no point did i mention dispatching a fox while there is a terrier grafting RE-read the thread and THEN reply..
  10. do you only use yours for terrier work or are you a knackerman?
  11. Don it's probably becuase i was one of the MUGS using the 3" cartridges lol, but all said and done the .22 is a lot less noisy and messy and a danmed sight cheeper on the pocket. not even looked at the prices for a .22 or a 410 yet..
  12. nice tackle. cant see me being allowed either of them. another reason for the .22 or 410 is because the ammo is so easily available.
  13. you were quick enough to share my beer even though you dont know what i had my face buried in earlier Fair comment, but couldnt be any worse than what i had mine in mine is 7 month pregnant, not eating that for a while now
  14. I'de go completely the other way, .22 is the perfect despatch tool if your up close and personal, the .410 is far to noisy to fire next to a dogs head. The .22 short is as good as useless and doesn't carry the punch. The .410 is to loud and creats a load of smoke you can't see through for two or three minutes. The smoke issue is the only thing that draws me back to the 22

  18. Are you saying that 5 1/2mth old terrier of yours produced you that vixen?? how??
  19. i had the landlord of my local pub do my shotgun lisence as he knows me better and sees me more than anyone, even the wife
  20. seen a few in action,22,410,45 etc.. as yet im drawn to the 410. Certificate not a problem mate, was a case of who i knew.
  21. ] think theres two ways to look at it, legally you are ment to use 12 bore aaa shot in england but any means may be used to end a deers suffering humanyly. all thats form bds manual. grey area. did you get to keep deer earth? didnt want it mate, spent too long skinning RTA deer, then to see its bruised too much.
  22. Dont think it is mate, i thought it was a 12 bore with aaa or ssg depending on whether its england or scotland for dispatching wounded deer. And the deer belongs to the people who own/control road accident happened on eg highway people.. dont quote me but im sure. i have dispatched RTA deer with my S/S 12 gauge using 6's,obviously point blank and with police presence.
  23. firearms ticket only and they dont give them out as freely as the shotgun.
  24. 3" cartridges! Dont suppose you have any photos of yours? Is it legal to use the 410 pistol on RTA deer?
  25. sound wise not a problem. size wise, its smaller than the auto.
