I think that would be sensible taking someone with you..well unless they were a liability to themselves or you up there..quite a lot of the stories I read online about people's climbs over Striding Edge were of being in a group with an experienced guide/leader ..and again I think the dogs no matter how well trained would be best left at home..bollox to having them knock someone off the path or worse still yourself!! It looks awesome in the snow/ice but I reckon that's for the real crag rats and not us hikers..if you go definately take your camera :-) Aye the winter pics look epic..
  3. I need to find someone daft enough to go with lol. Lad at works been before it's pinning him down to go again. Would prefer to go with someone that's experienced. I don't want to become a death statistic. Good page on Facebook wainwrights walks could put them to shame with some of your pictures. If I get there I will definitely take a camera might leave the dogs are home stupid fuckers might go over the edge lol
  4. Thanks mate. Don't think they want the birds that badly lol. We thought Maybe it just needed moved and a few would fly in lol. We let them know the crack, my dad might be up for it. They got a nice house when they retired dove cots and carp ponds they where townies before lol.
  5. Have you ever been up that striding edge ? If you google it stunning pictures. I always fancy that one, dangerous in the wind been a few fatalities on there. Cracking pics and dogs are looking in top fettle .
  6. They are all pretty similar.. They all change like the wind.. Dont think as a population we will ever be happy.. No ones got a magic wand - lifes tough at times people mabie just need to accept this and work as hard as they can to secure there own future. Mabie we should imagrate

  21. A know mixed bag. I just wanted one more season with her.. Will stay here till she takes her last breath, been a excellent dog for me and has set a high standard for any sapplings in my kennels. Hopefully the young blue pup will be a good un, only time will tell
  22. Pups a collie grey - saluki grey Old white bitch is collie greyhound old lines. She's getting on now 9 ish.. Seems to of dropped right off this last month, I am sick really.. Pup looking well mate, funny enough my 9 yr old collie/grey as done the same and gone right off doing any real work, can't be helped but she's served me well over the years. Got mine some supplements. Will see if she is it makes any improvements.. Last month it was racing about and now its limping about, her back legs have started clicking when she walks. Going to see greyhound vet but I reco
